So basically the idea of this was that her hair is a zen tangle. And the girl is monochromatic other than the bit of purple in her eyes, the gold on her necklace, and the pink in her mouth. Anyways.
The background is supposed to be like her actually seeing colors for the first time. Or something to that affect.
I thouvht it looked pretty neat. It's watercolors for the background, pens for the zentangle, and colored pencils for the rest of it.
I did some pretty good shading for being away from art for so long... Damnnn. At least I think so.
