Chapter 8 Not always what meets the eye

As I walked through the woods I sat down to breath and as I made my way to a tree "AHH WHAT THE HELL?!" I screamed as I was hoisted up by a rope and hung upside-down "Hey, Umbreon!" I heard a little girls voice say "Brea!?" "I told you that I was good at traps!" "And I told you to stay at home! How did you escape?!" "Well..." she said and rolled her eyes a bit "Lets say a man like you and I came by and untied me and said 'If you have a strength, use it' and here I am..." "Dad..." I said under my breath "Soooo... Can I come with you?" she asked in a sweet voice and I thought "... Ok... but be caref- AHH" she cut the rope and I fell down "Httttt.... That was not careful..." "SORRY UMBREON!" she said and ran on "Wait for me!" I yelled after her as we ran to where the adventure waits...
