I swear it's not going to get steamy, it just looks it! o///o
Also, I'm not that great at writing cuteness, but I tried, okay? v.v Hope you like it!
Lucy scrambled to her feet, already pulling her shirt over her head to reveal a simple blue bra underneath. She caught Natsu's gaping expression as she set to work on unbuttoning her shorts.
"What? C'mon, Natsu. You've seen me naked one too many times – You can handle seeing my underwear." She rolled her eyes, stepping out of her shorts, left only in her black panties and bra. She pulled her hair out of its ponytail, shaking her head, her blonde locks falling over her shoulders.
"Are you coming, or what?" She grinned, glancing at him as she walked backwards towards the water, her feet sinking into the sand.
Natsu blinked, shaking his hand as he stood up. He pulled off his shirt, then pants till he was left in his underwear. Lucy's face started heating up as she stared at his body. He had way too many muscles, and they looked way too good. The dragon slayer kicked his clothes away, glancing at Lucy. He paused for a second, before smirk appeared on his face, his eyes glinting.
Lucy took a step back, only to hiss as her ankles hit the cold water lapping at the sand. "Natsu, whatever you planning-ACK!" The blonde was silenced as he charged at her, grabbing her waist and throwing her over his shoulder as he ran into the water.
Lucy banged her fists against his back as she shrieked. "Natsu! DON'T!" She felt him laugh, his body rumbling. She was about to protest again when she was suddenly flung into the water.
The cold water hit her skin like a slap, leaving her breathless. Her feet hit the bottom, and she pushed upwards. She broke the surface with a gasp, glaring at the pink-haired man who was grinning and cackling at her.
"Asshole," she muttered as she splashed him with the water. Natsu merely shrugged, not even bothered by the water.
"Really, Luce? Is that all you've got?"
"Is that a challenge, Dragneel?" Lucy raised her eyebrows, before suddenly launching herself towards him with a battle cry. Natsu's eyes widened as she tackled him backwards into the water, submerging them both.
Lucy reached the surface first, giggling as Natsu came up slowly. His pink hair was completely covering his face, and he was looking at her with a deadpan expression.
"Payback," Lucy grinned, splashing him with a small amount of water. Natsu shook his head and ran his fingers through his long hair. His hair ended up sticking up in spikes everywhere, and Lucy stifled a giggle. He tilted his head and grinned at her. A real one. The first proper grin in days.
Lucy swam out further into the lake until she could barely touch with her feet, Natsu following. She tilted her head back as she looked up at the night sky. Stars littered the sky, and she sighed happily.
"It's so nice out here, so quiet and peaceful. It's just beautiful."
"Yeah, it is."
Lucy glanced back at Natsu, finding that he was already looking at her. No, not looking, staring. His gaze seemed so heated, and she couldn't help but blush and look away. She cleared her throat as she took a sudden interest in the water.
A cool breeze blew through the clearing, and she shivered, already a little cold from the temperature of the water.
"It's a little cold, isn't it-" She squeaked softly as she felt his arms surround her waist. Her back was flush against his chest, and he was so warm. His body was like a furnace, and so were her cheeks.
"Better?" Natsu mumbled quietly, resting his chin on her shoulder. Lucy nodded wordlessly, trying not to seem too eager or excited, or freak out too much about how close they were. Eventually, she decided to just relax, enjoying the embrace and the warmth.
She could feel every breath he took, and it was lulling her into a sleepy state. She had stopped swimming a while ago, and Natsu was probably the only thing keeping them above the surface. She was enjoying this way too much, but she may as well soak it up while she could.
"Are you falling asleep?" Natsu chuckled quietly, the sound reverberating throughout her body. She simply hummed a small reply.
He laughed again, his warm breath against her neck. "You can't swim back to shore if you're asleep, you know. Do I need to wake you up?"
Lucy gave a small chuckle, "Yeah, good luck with that."
She felt Natsu's arms shift, and she shivered as his arms moved from her waist. She was about to complain when she was spun around so that she was face to face with him.
He smirked, his eyes glinting as he stared at her. "Is that a challenge, Heartfilia?" He mocked her words from before. He stared at her with such intensity, it was almost like there was a mini fire in his eyes.
Lucy shrugged, a playful smile on her lips. "I doubt you'll succeed."
"We'll see," Natsu grinned, grabbing her hips and drawing her close to his body.
Lucy's face instantly flushed red at the action, and she gulped as she felt his hard, chiselled abs against her stomach. He leant forward, a smirk on his lips. She could feel his warm breath against her face. He was so close, and she couldn't stop staring at him. He glanced into her eyes, then his gaze slid down to rest on her lips.
Her lips felt as if they were on fire as she realised what his plan was. Time seemed to slow down, and her mind went completely blank. Her breath hitched as his lips brushed against hers, and suddenly his lips were pressed against hers. He was kissing her, and she was kissing back. Lucy melted into the kiss, glad that Natsu was holding her, otherwise, she probably would've drowned.
Eventually, Natsu pulled away, just as out of breath as her. Her lips tingled from the kiss, and she wished it had never ended.
Natsu chuckled, leaning his forehead against hers gently. "Are you awake, now?"
Lucy's eyes widened as she stared into his, her brain still catching up with what exactly had happened, replying breathlessly. "You win."
