Split ends are basically dead ends going up the hair shaft. Split end the long run will beak off your hair make it look like your hair is not growing. Split ends will go up the hair shaft and will just break and break until they get as high as they can get then the hair will be thinner and easily prone to breakage.
Split ends should get cut off once as seen because they can only get worse then it already is. There are different ways your hair strand can split some peoples strands split differently then others. Some people hair split in the middle some peoples hair crinkle it all just depends what you do to your or how you take of it.
