Secrets

Chapter 9

This chapter occurs the day after the last.
Kit's P.O.V.
I was in such a bad mood! That scum bag! Stealing my girlfriend! I snarled at Tristan who was standing next to me!

Draco(Thaw's) P.O.V.
Good! Snarl at him! But if he dares say that one more time! I will personally see that his throat is ripped out! Actually. I will see to it that both of their throats are ripped out! I felt like someone was following me. But I wasn't exactly sure who yet...

I saw the two idiots burst into the place I had been walking. The street was very quite today. Misty was with them a cross expression plastered across her face. I watched as she accidentally used her powers on them. Covering them in a flick cloud of mist. Tristan was smart enough to get out, but Kit was still fumbling around inside. Trying to escape.

She quickly ran. But I followed, knowing were she was going. I heard the cry of a bird above me, and watched I fly by. I believed it was a jay. And now I knew who was following me.

When I reached her. I could tell she was angry and upset. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Of course I am!" She snapped before apologising. I didn't mind really. Those two didn't deserve her. Suddenly the two burst round the corner. "Get away from... Thaw...?" The two coursed. "Err... W-what's going on...?" Mist stammered.

Lilly's P.O.V.
Thaw? Were had I heard that? I twitched my talons on the tree branch in irritation. But no one seemed to notice me, sitting on the tree branch. Disguised as a Jay. I felt comfortable as jay. My third favourite thing to be. Second a cat, and first a wolf.

As the two boys advanced towards Draco... Or Thaw... I'm not sure what to call him now. I felt anger surge threw me. I don't know why. But something made me feel like I had to protect him. So with talons outstretched I dived at the boys. Screeching as I did so. I unintentionally scratched Kit. I felt really bad. I just didn't know what came over me.

The boys ran. I guess it wasn't normal for a jay to be in the city, and decide to attack to people as they tried to attack someone else. Had they really not noticed it was me. I changed into a hawk and watched from above, making sure they didn't come back. So as they turned to that direction I quickly changed back to a wolf and jumped on the two.

"Were do you think your going?" I snarled, my left paw holding down Tristan, my right paw holding down Kit. They exchanged a worried confused looked. "How did a talking wolf get into the city?!" Kit asked. I let out a long wolfish sigh. "It's me you ding bats! And don't think Misty wants to see you! She has no interest in either of you and right now she would prefer to be alone!" I barked at them loudly. I wasn't always nice. I was rough when I had to be! And now was one of those exemptions.

Kit's P.O.V.
Lilly's eyes pierced through my soul. Her claws raking my my clothes. I got the message. Don't find Misty, or I won't be home for Zane's cooking tonight. She had changed into a black and white wolf, after attacking me. I was kinda mad about that. My scratch really hurt. It was by my eye. But I wasn't going to bring anything up. Not now. Maybe never. Not to her at least. Because when this girl was mad, she would kill!

Misty's P.O.V.
"I'm sorry I have to do this..." Thaw mumbled. "What?" I asked. He then tried to capture me but I bolted. I knew he was undercover. Trying to get close to the man behind all this. Even he didn't know who it was! I went into a part of the forest that no one else knew about. Except Thaw... But he wouldn't come looking.

I heard a rustle in the bushes, and a few seconds later a black and white wolf came out. It looked exactly like the first time Thaw had shifted! "Thaw.....?" I trailed off in confusion. The wolf tilted it's head in confusion, and I realised it was Lee. She padded closer and tucked her head under my arm.

"You won't tell anyone... Will you...?" I asked quickly. She shook her head. Her soft eyes beamed up at me. She gave my face a quick lick, which I didn't take kindly to. Although I knew it was her way of saying goodbye. She then turned and disappeared back into the undergrowth. She really did look like Thaw's first wolf form...
