Character Interview

Announcer: "Good Evening Land of Fire! It's the Konoha Talk Show at Shippuden Studios! Here's your lovely host! Seeerrrenity HOPE!"

(A spotlight appears on a young blond girl as she smiles and waves to the camera.)

Serenity: "Hey! Everyone! Thanks for coming back to the Konoha Talk Show, where I, Serenity Hope, bring you interviews of all your favorite Naruto characters. If there's anyone you would like me to interview, just let me and my creators know! Tonight we have a treat for you! My manager is bringing a surprise guest for us on the show tonight. How exciting is that?! (She waves her arms to her left as she announces to her viewers) Introducing, my second interviewee-"

(A pale, tall young man walks with black goggles on his eyes and wrapped up in a coat, walks onto the stage.)

Shino: Good evening, everyone.

Serenity: Uhhh . . . (Blinks as she smiles awkwardly and reaches for the microphone in her right ear with her right arm and whispers through a grin) Izumo, Shino's your big surprise guest?"

(Serenity raises an eyebrow when she hears her manager freaking out and scolding her announcer who is laughing in the background. She looks up in the sound booth behind the windows and catches Izumo screaming)

Izumo: "You had this all planned, Kotetsu?!"

Kotetsu: "(Laughs) I thought he'd be a fun guy for Ren to interview."

Serenity: "(Smile drops as she asks in quiet outrage) Wait, you let Kotetsu pick the mystery guest?! You know better than to let him be in charge of anything. He's an idiotic jerk!"

Izumo: "Why'd you pick Shino when he hardly talks to anyone?"

Kotetsu: "I figured Ren would like a challenge and maybe she can get the kid to open up a little. It's a great idea for the show, think of all the viewers! (He smirks)."

Izumo: "But Serenity is still a beginner what if she can't handle it?"

Kotetsu: "The little girl's a natural, and it'll be hilarious if one of his pet bugs lands on her and she screams on live television."

Serenity: "(Deadpans as she glares at the sound box) Okay, I take it back. You're BOTH idiots!"

Shino: "Are you talking to me? (Appears behind her.)"

Serenity: "(Jumps and lets out a small shout as she turns towards him and shakes her arms and head) No! No! Just my colleagues. Anyways, let's welcome, Shino Aburame!"

(Izumo and Kotetsu watch from the sound both as Shino and Serenity take their seats and they converse between each other.)

Izumo: "(Sighs with a bit of worry) Looks like she's going with it."

Kotetsu: "Show must go on."

Izumo: "You do realize she's probably planning your death right now, right? (His eyes shifted to his friend)."

Kotetsu: "She's an innocent little small fry. What could she be planning? (Shrugs and grins)."

Serenity: "(Smiles) Alright, Shino. Tell us a bit about yourself."

Shino: "What do you want to know? (Shows little to no emotion.)"

Serenity: "Let's start with what you do as a Shinobi. What's your specialty?"

Shino: "I am a chunin ranked ninja and I specialize in my clan's secret techniques."

Serenity: "That's right. The Aburame Clan specializes in . . . (she shuddered slightly but still gave a small smile) . . . b-bugs. How exactly does that work?"
