- "What do you want?" she demanded answers.
- "I'm here to give you what you want" he paused. "Me".
- "That's a change".
- "Well, I can't just stand there and watch the world, my friends and my family die" he walked closer to her. "So if becoming a part of you ends all this madness, I'm in".
- "What makes this time any different?" she put him in doubt.
- "I don't have a choice, do I? What you're doing to the sun... You're ending this" he stated, trying talk to her into it.
- "That's not me, Dean. With my brother getting weaker, the scales are tipping away from light into nothing" she revealed.
- "Is this what you wanted?" he asked as he saw the look on her face.
- "No! I just wanted to hurt him. I wanted to make him pay for what he did to me" she said looking down, almost ashamed of what she had done.
- "Revenge will get you out of bed in the morning, and when you get it, it feels great... for about five minutes. I've been there. Me and Sam, we have had our fair share of fights, but no matter how bad it got, we always made it right because we're family. I need him. He needs me. And when everything goes to crap, that's all you've got, family. And with (Y/N) now, the family just keeps getting bigger and we will always work this way. No matter what" he pointed out.
"Now you might be a-an all-powerful being... but I think you're human where it counts. You simply need your brother. I mean, hell. Maybe that's why you wanted me. But deep down, you didn't really want me... 'cause I'm not him".
She paid close attention to his words, probably realizing that maybe, just maybe, he was right about everything.
"So I'm gonna ask you again. Put aside the rage. Put aside the hate. And you tell me... what do you want?" he asked speaking from the heart right now.
You and Sam, on the other hand, went downstairs to find the group drinking a bottle of scotch and pretty much saying goodbye to the world. Chuck rested quietly, sitting on the sofa. You went to check on him.
- "Hey. Try and hang in there just a little longer" you moved your hand over his arm up and down. He was having some sort of fever.
- "I know. I'm trying" he half smiled. "How's the little one?".
- "Making me sick to my stomach" you joked passing your hand gently through your belly. You didn't even want to think about the fact that the world was ending and none of it was going to happen. "I'm gonna go get you some water" you nicely added, heading to the kitchen.
Before you could even get him that glass, Chuck had disappeared from the studio. All of you looked surprised.
"What the...?" you let out then you stopped yourself, realizing what might had happened. "Dean" you whispered running to his room to find it completely empty. You half smiled with your eyes welled up.
- "Where the hell is he?" Sam asked confused. You shared a worried look with him.
- "He's trying to talk her out of it" you grinned and without saying anything, all of you immediately stepped outside to look at the sky.
- "What the hell is he doing?" Crowley couldn't understand it either.
- "He's saving the world" Castiel softly replied.
Chuck was teletransported to the park where Dean and Amara were.
- "Why did you bring me here?" he asked with the little strength he had left.
- "Brother, I... In the beginning it was just you and me, and we were family. I loved you, and I knew...that you loved me" she pointed out.
- "I did" he nodded "I still do".
- "But then you went and you made all these other things. I hated them. I hated you for needing something else, something that wasn't me but I was wrong". She continued "What you've made... it's beautiful. It took me a long time to see that. I know that we can't go back to the way things were. I don't want to, but I wish... I wish that we could just be family again" she sincerely confessed.
Dean had shown her that there was something way stronger than revenge, something stronger than anything. Love.
- "I do too" Chuck replied as both of them held hands and started to glow. The sky brightened and the sun began to burn bright again.
All of you were blinded by the unexpected brightness that came back from the sun and you couldn't believe it. He did it.
- "He bloody did it" Rowena laughed in disbelief.
Amara pressed her hand on Chuck's chest to heal him, making him the force he had always been.
- "I think we're just gonna go away for a while... you know. Family meeting" Chuck chuckled.
- "What about us? What about Earth?" Dean questioned concerned
- "Earth will be fine. It's got you... and Sam. And another Winchester on the way" he smiled.
- "Dean, you gave me what I needed most. I want to do the same for you" Amara confessed to him.
"What are you talking about?" Dean glared confused.
"You'll see".
Chuck and Amara bonded into a ray of light and as they dissapeared within the air, Dean was transported back into the entrance of the bunker, with everyone of you standing there.
- "Dean!" you ran to him as he grabbed his shoulder from the fall. You helped him standing up.
- "What happened?" Sam asked atonished as he helped him too.
- "Nothing some Dr. Phil couldn't fix" he jokingly replied. Sam opened his arms and hugged him as hard as he could. Probably in relief of seeing him alive and partly, thanking him for giving his future son or daughter a chance in this world.
- "Unbelievable. Ten points for you, Squirrel" Crowley confessed with a smirk. "Now, if you excuse me, I got a little Hell to raise" he snapped his fingers and dissapeared from the map.
- "Oh well, this has been fun. Thank you dear for saving us. Until next time" Rowena nervously said goodbye as she recited a weird spell and left the place.
- "And then there were four" you joked holding hands with Sam.
- "I believe we haven't properly met" Cas spoke up to you.
- "I believe we haven't" you replied in the same flat tone as him making the boys crack.
- "Castiel" he gave you his hand to shake. "I'm an angel of the Lord".
You opened your arms to him and gave him a really sweet hug. He awkardly stood still without saying anything, only giving the boys a concerned look.
- "I'm (Y/N) and I'm regular person" you teased. "Well, I'm two people right now but you get the picture".
The three of you entered the place that you now called home and shared one of the most homely moments you've had in years. Dean cooked an amazing dinner, classic rock sounded on the stereo. Sam and you, laughing and joking around, with his hands pretty much all over you, hugging you and kissing you and even Castiel laughed too.
It was perfect, it was home.
