Old Opinion:  "Although they aren't a perfect couple in my opinion, Mike and Zoey are definitely a really good one.  Zoey helps Mike overcome his problems with his personalities and makes him feel normal despite his disorder.  Mike has saved Zoey numerous times in the competition and gave Zoey the strength she needed to eventually be able to fend for herself without him around.  It is the romance between Bella and Edward from Twilight done right, but with Mike having MPD instead of being a vampire.  My only problems with the couple are that it can be a little uninteresting at times, and making Zoey a damsel in distress for Mike to save is kind of degrading for her character.  Otherwise, they are good together."

New Opinion: I actually love this couple a lot more now than I used to. I seriously think Zoey is a great match with Mike, and for a strong reason. She is the reason he is able to fight his troubles connected with his Multiple Personality Disorder, something that I really didn't talk about the last time. Zoey is Mike's inspiration to live a life he can control for himself, and not be a puppet controlled at certain times by the probable scars of his past. Although the show depicted this kind in a kind of cheesy matter, the message still was able to get through in the show. As for Zoey, she feels happy for having someone who understands fully who she is as a person. She is sweet, kind of quirky, a little clumsy at times, and knows what it is like to feel different from the general crowd. Mike understands this, and this is why they work.

However, the fact that Zoey was depicted as a damsel in distress for Mike to save for half of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island still bothers me to this day. Also, their romance's development was kind of halted by the Mal plot line in Total Drama: All-Stars, which was badly needed. They need to return at least one more time to have the relationship develop fully, and that is a fact.
