The group discover a trolley car by a lake, where they decide to spend the night. Taichi accidentally awakens a Seadramon by burning its tail, who pulls the island that the trolley car sits on into the middle of the lake. Sensing that Takeru is in danger, Yamato confronts Seadramon and is captured. Gabumon evolves into Garurumon and defeats Seadramon, rescuing him.

The group of human children and digimon are in the forest where signs are posted on the trees. Something flies above their heads, causing loud noises, startling them as it passes by.
"What's that sound?" Taichi asks his friends.
The group looks up to see something zip by them.
"It looked like a gear." Yamato answers.
"A gear?" Mirai questions in disbelief.
"Are you sure it wasn't a flying saucer?" Sora asks.
"Which one is more believable?" Skylar chuckles.
"Or it could have been a meteorite shaped like a gear." Mimi suggests.
"Can something like that exist?" Sara asks.
"I think in this world, anything is possible." Cassie replies to her.
"Either way something didn't feel right about it..." Joe says, nervously.
"I agree. It would be best to avoid it." Luna says, nodding her head.
"Hopefully, it doesn't follow us." Bearmon says.
Takeru takes a step forward and steps on a branch (maybe) that snaps in half. He slips, nearly falling to the ground. Taichi catches the young boy before Yamato can react.
"Oww..." Takeru whimpers.
"Are you okay, Takeru?" Taichi asks him.
From behind, Yamato looks worried but a bit upset that Taichi is the one caring for Takeru.
"That hurt! But I'm okay, I'll bear with it." Takeru reassures.
"You don't have to. It's okay to say that it still hurts." Skylar tells him.
"We wouldn't want to ignore your pain." Sora adds.
"Okay... Actually, it hurts a little." Takeru replies.
Fumiko places her hand on Takeru's head and pats it softly.
"Don't worry, I got this. Pain, pain, go away! There the pain went away." Fumiko chants with a smile.
"Are you okay, Takeru?!" Patamon asks.
"What's the point of saying that now?" Tentomon asks him.
"Bit of a delayed reaction." Renamon says with a soft chuckle.
Sora looks at her friends with a small smile.
"C'mon, let's get going!" Sora exclaims.
"Yeah, we won't get anywhere by complaining." Yamato says.
"That's fine and all... but none of us really know where to go." Taichi reminds.
"I was wondering about that yesterday." Lalamon admits.
"That might be so, but..." Sora says.
"I'm perfectly happy anywhere as long as Sora is there!" Piyomon reassures.
