"You think I don't remember them, everyone I killed, but I do. I remember every face, every single scream for mercy. Believe me I remember." Her voice was cold and poison laced, matching the neutral expression she wore so well.
The room was small, barely enough space to walk in. The camera on the ceiling wasn't very comforting either.
Then again, I don't think anyone would be comfortable in a government holding cell.
"Miss Vive, we cannot help you until you tell us where the laboratory is located. We have been authorized to use force if you do not start cooperating." The mans voice echoed slightly in the concrete room, she moved further into the corner.
Pulling her knees closer to her body, she slowly looked into the camera.
"Clara says not to trust you, and Teri doesn't like your attitude. Go to hell."
The camera buzzed quietly before shutting off, the metal door to her right unlocking. The door opened slowly as a man dressed in black stepped in. His blond hair contradicted the overall dark theme he seemed to have. Black sunglasses, black suit, black gloves.
"Miss Vive, we have told you many times. Clara and Teri don't exist, you imagined them, so please stop consulting them." His voice was deep and tired, he was probably in his sixties.
"Clara was the first woman I killed, she was so thin. She was going to die anyways, she knew to much. She was going to hurt people, she had already hurt someone. I shouldn't feel this way, her death was justified." She smiled and looked down, laughing quietly as the white figure twirled. It was graceful and precise, a beautiful ballerina.
"She wanted t-to dance, to dance for the whole world! I took that from her! I-I stole her dream and threw it out the damn window!" The laughing became louder, as the figure faded away. They always faded, they were always moving.
"Miss Vive, you did not kill that woman. Claire JoHanson committed suicide after her husband was shot, you did not kill h-"
"But I did! I was there, I shot her and the kids! I killed her kids!" She paused and breathed heavily, staring at the wall.
"I killed children Doctor Joseph, I killed innocent children..." The man sighed and pulled a syringe from his coat.
"Amelia I'm sorry, but we talked about this. When you confess to your crimes you get caught. If you don't get better at this you'll never get to go into the field again." He injected the liquid into her neck, she fell over asleep seconds after.
"Test number twenty-six, negative response."
"Notation recorded, shall I prepare the next test Doctor Joseph?" The robotic voice replied softly, software that think for itself is hard to come by these days, and here she is working as a secretary.
"Yes. Bring in the albino next."
