Chapter 8.1: Tracking

"....!!" Triana alerted. She pushed Mina back a metre away. Afterwards she jumped in the air and draw her bow

grabbing three arrow. Quickly she disappeared in the darkness. The men turning heads now and Mina got their

attention.

"That kid, it maybe a monster just disguising!" A man said. "Kill her!!" Another man said. Mina cried for what she

hear. "Triana help!!" Mina yelled. But she didn't showed up. When the men are near to Mina, a wind blasted to the

ground and it was pinned with arrows. It was just Triana shots but still zero visibility. Four arrows lined between

Mina and the men. "Fall back or you'll get killed!" Triana said in shadows.

The men fall back in distance away from Mina and guarded their positions and the path leading to the camp.

"Where are you?!" A man in green tunic asked in a loud voice. "I'm Triana and we two are lost. We need help. She is

Mina. Her sister was lost in this forest. We have another companion still lost." Triana said.

The men tightened their held in the spears. "We don't beleive you!! Until you don't show up, we would rain our

spears to that kid!!" The man yelled. No response from Triana. The men didn't knew what she is up to. Triana is

trying to tie a vine around and grabbing some smoke bombs that she got lately. The bombs were exploding fruits.

"Try," She replied. She again taunt however, the men were insulted by that and thrown their spears to Mina. No

one would be alive from that sure hit. Mina bowed and cried. Another arrows flew hitting the spears down to the

ground. Two arrows every spear. She moved so quick. The men have no weapon anymore. And, that was her cue.

She quickly showed to the center but still half of her was covered in shadow and throwed the bombs caused some

explosion and blasted smoke covering the whole area of thick smoke. Quickly, she commanded the wind again to

blew Mina back and wind pushed her back and Triana catch her. "Mina, I will tie you in the vine okay." Mina's

face is weary. Her tears dried up. "Okay," Then she nodded. Triana tied Mina to another vine and another.

It was a protection made of vine. Now, while the smoke still free flowing the area, Triana throwed one vine to one

man and pulled him causing him to fall down and pulled again on Triana's side. Triana quickly covered the mouth

of the man and grab one arrow then strike it to the vine. She do it repeatedly and falling them one by one.

One man left standing holding a knife. Triana quickly stood at the front of the man but she is covered by smoke and

the wind cleared the smoke. The man shockingly saw Triana at his front loaded one arrow to her bow and readied

to shoot. "Who are you?" Triana asked in a gentle voice. The man looked around and saw his companions fell and

tied.

The man is shaking and he dropped his knife. "Hmm? What was your name?" Triana asked again.

"I am Halereo, the leader of the group villagers in the camp. What brought you here?"

Triana lowered her bow and she quickly kick the knife at her side a one metre away to avoid counterattack. "As I

said a while ago, I am Triana and the kid was Mina. We are not monsters disguising. One companion was lost in the

woods and her sister was here lost. Me I came to a mission ordered from the Saint Haven and I meet them." Triana

said. "We don't come here for a help not a fight."

Halereo got a questioning face now. He turned to Triana. "Please my comrades set them free," Halereo said. Triana

smiled and walk through the tied men. She sat down and untie the vines one by another letting them free now. The

men stand and feeling for any wounds. Halereo stood by them and started to speak.

"Sorry for our bad welcome for the two of you, we just getting for sure behind on what happend on us. This is Milo,

the first head of countermeasures, as you can see he is wearing a green tunic and green minish cap. Misaki, the

second head of countermeasures, he is wearing a blue tunic and a winged cap. Last but not the least, Ganouchi, the

Death Basin's entrance guard. He is wearing a red tunic and a red beret. I, Halereo, the leader of the villagers. As

you see I am wearing a white mail called as Pledged Mail and a white helmet called as Pledged Helmet."
