Voices echoed in his mind.

Thoughts clouding his every judgement.

Jimin was a contemplating mess.

.

"I uh," Urie swallowed, licking at his bleeding lip as he caught up to Jimin in the hallway, "wait."

Jimin waited. Shocked, in awe, and barely about to look the man before him in the eye. He didn't know what hit him or whether or not it was true. All he knew, was that Urie, the one that hate him from Day 1, had ambushed him the way he did...

Urie looked tired, eyes hard. He looked off, as if he was hiding something or having to say something he didn't want to say. Jimin just watched his behaviour.

"I lied."

Jimin didn't believe it, eyes narrowing when looking at the man trying to make bright of this situation.

"She doesn't love you," Urie lied, jaw clenching a little as he spoke, "I mean, I can't say such words on her behalf...I don't know how she feels."

"No one blurts such things out from nowhere," Jimin said lightly, testing.

"Well I did," Urie said, eyes meeting Jimin dead on, "I'm an asshole. We love to stir things up and create messes so that's all I did." It made Urie feel sick to say such things, but he did so, bruising his own ego as he spoke.

"You aren't an asshole."

Urie's brows furrowed at that.

Jimin smiled a tiny bit at the man.

"I um, I won't take what you said to heart," Jimin piped, trying to be mature over this situation, "but I will keep it in mind. None of that came from nowhere..."

Urie slowly nodded civilly at that.

"Ask her," Urie said lightly, wanting you to be confronted.

"I might just," Jimin said lowly, slowly moving away from the man he was throwing punches at earlier in practice.

.

"Jimin?"

Jimin jumped a bit at his locker, glancing over at Gi who smiled kindly over at him. She was holding his books for him. Smiling at her sweetly, he tried to simply think of this day as a new day, a new refreshing day.

Don't let what Urie said to you get in the way of things...if anything he may just have been lying and a prick about all of it.

It had been a few days since the practice where he got his face busted in. Since then, he noticed you'd still give him the silent treatment so he let you have your space. Heck, after what happened, he needed that space too.

But then it became obvious he was trying to avoid you and you grew uncomfortable. You can't exactly avoid someone who's avoiding you back right? So now, here Jimin was, days later, being the one to ignore you.

You were the one waving at him and texting, while he just...well he just smiled at you before swearing internally and wanting to scream.

He wanted to ask you if what Urie said had any truth to it at all, but he was scared. Underneath it all, if you did love him, he didn't know how he'd react to it. Jimin was scared to know what could possibly become of the two of you if you did love him.

On one end he believed Urie, then on the other end, he believed Vinaye...

.

"Giving into what Urie said and letting that cloud you...break it off with Y/N as a friend...well then you let him win," Vinaye said lightly, not understanding why Jimin was taking any of this seriously.
