"I figured you were going to run out, so I got some more for you." Griffin shoves a mountain of multicolored papers in Stephen's hands. "Here you go."
Stephen can't even see Griffin's face through all the papers. "Thanks. You didn't have to," comes his muffled response.
"I know I didn't, but I did anyway. You might as well accept it."
"This is overwhelming."
"A thousand is overwhelming."
Later on that day, Stephen manages to manufacture two hundred and fifty-four cranes.
Seven hundred and forty six more to go.
