Michael Milligan, Head care worker of Elmtree house was expecting two new guests the Hunter sisters. He had received their files a few days prior so he could understand the girls past. He was flicking through the younger girls file when he heard a knock at the door, he answered it and there were two young girls standing in the doorway along with a older girl Claire the girls social worker.

Mike ushered the two blonde haired girls in to the home and he brought the two into his office along with Claire.  They talked for a few minutes discussing different things and he introduced the two girls to the other care workers Gina and Tracy. Soon enough Claire left the two girls alone with Mike.

"Right Girls, Dinner will be ready in a while, I am going to show you to your rooms. If you would like to follow me."  Tracy told the girls motioning for the girls to follow her. Tracy led Lydia to a fairly large room well it was bigger than her room at her previous residence. After Lydia had gone into her room Tracy led Aurora to another room.

"Here you go, this is your room. You can decorate it how you want!" Tracy told the young girl

"I can decorate my room?"

"Yeah, I presume you have nothing to decorate it with we can take you and your sister out tomorrow to get some stuff if you want!?"

"Oh yes please!"

"That's okay Aurora. Anyway I will leave you to get sorted, someone will come and get you when it's time for tea."

"Okay thank you Tracy" Aurora said as the caseworker left the room.

Aurora looked around her room. It was a large room painted blue, with a single bed against the wall, along with a wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers and bedside table. She had decided that she lied the room very much.

The blonde girl had started to put away her clothes and other belongings, soon enough there was a knock at the door, the door creaked open and Aurora could see a young girl standing in the doorway, she was wearing jeans and a pale blue top with a teapot on. She looked to be barley 12.

"Hi, sorry to come into your room like this but Mike told me to tell you that dinner is ready." The girl said. "Oh I'm Tee by the way" she said extending her hand out.

"Oh I'm Aurora, but you can call me Rory" she said back shaking Tee's hand. "You said dinner was ready, so let's go I'm starving." Aurora said walking to the door. She followed Tee down to the dining room.

"Oh look, who's the Newbie!" A older girl with blue streaks in her hair asked

"Erm. Hi guys, I'm Aurora Leigh Hunter. But you can call me Rory."

Rory said to everyone at the table. Everyone soon went around the table saying their name. Soon Lydia came down and the process started again.

During the meal a child called Gus kept asking the sisters questions about why they are in care. And he was trying to find out every last detail about the two to write down in his notebook. Reluctantly Aurora gave in and started to answer the boys questions just to shut him up.

Once they had finished their meal, Tee and Aurora collected up the plates and put them in the dishwasher.

"Hey look there are no padlocks on the cupboards! And you actually have biscuits and sweets! What is this heaven!?" Screeched Aurora.

Over the next few weeks Aurora became accustomed to Elmtree House and their rules as well as the people living in it. She wasn't scared or worried like she was when she first walked through the doors.

She liked this place a lot more than Burnywood. The people were nicer and the care workers were so kind. She was certain that she would never have to encounter Dennis again. That cruel man from her previous care home who hated her guts.

Oh if Aurora only knew what was coming next.
