In which Aspen Clarke gets bitten by a mysterious woman, named Laura Hale. Aspen learns a lot from this, aggressive, passionate, and a bit psychotic woman, as she teaches her how to control her newfound lycanthrope abilities. Aspen is bit apprehensive of everything, but Laura can manipulate her to do almost anything, unbeknownst to Aspen.
Soon Aspen befriends a group of new people, especially a boy named Scott McCall. She soon discovers that they too, are supernatural creatures— well, except for Stiles. When another anonymous alpha causes havoc on the crew, they team up with a mysterious man with a leather jacket, named Derek Hale.
When she finds out Derek's name, she questions Laura, the woman she thought she knew so well. She slowly starts to understand that Laura has been manipulating and lying to her. She runs away from Laura, going to the only person who can give her answers: Derek Hale.
Their relationship slow-burns from that point on; with all of Derek's walls and the two dangerous alphas on the loose. Laura becomes more psychotic, teaming up with the very man who tried to kill her, Peter.

marie avgeropolous ; aspen clarke caring, usually docile, but stronger than she thinks. she can be gullible at times, as well as oblivious. at first, she is pretty intimidated by laura, but tries not to show it.
megan ory ; laura hale cocky, aggressive, controlling, possessive, intelligent. she manipulates everyone she meets. she can be a little sexual/sensual with aspen, to get her to do what she wants.
