Amira is a young Princess of a powerful desert Kingdom. She doesn't feel right with an arranged marriage her parents, the Empress and Emperor, have set up, so she runs away on her horse. She declares that she will become a knight, a hero.
Maria is a young Princess of a Kingdom in the green highlands. When her father, the King, dies, she and her older sister must rule together. Maria's older sister Meredith refuses to share the power, so she locks Maria in a tower, claiming she ran away when the King died.
One day, Amira stumbles along Maria's tower...
