The purple orb went to the left and started to take form. "Now come from the depths of the Shadows and crush hope! Come forth, Supreme Black Dragon, Rising Flare Rebellion Dragon!" The orb changed into a vicious, wild, Shadow clone version of Flare. "Prepare yourself Rainbow Guardian! This is one fight that you will not win!" "We'll see about that." Shadow Tai smirked. "If you say so. Since I called a Shadow monster I can draw a card. Now Rebellion, go and attack Tai!" "I will cast-" Before he could finish the cast, he body suddenly froze, like time has stopped. Shadow Tai shook his head. "We can't have you stopping our attacks now can we?" "What did you do!" Flare growled. "I just used my buddy's ability. If I have 5 or more Shadow cards in the drop zone, my opponent cannot cast spells when this card attacks."  Rebellion punched Tai but he couldn't me. He felt the wind was knocked out of him, but couldn't react. "Tai!" "That's not all, this card has Triple Attack!" "What?!" "Go get him Rebellion!" Rebellion took its claws out and charge at Tai. Flare couldn't bare to watch as he was useless. Tai still couldn't move. "What to do, what to do?" But then a feeling came over him. A sharp pain has occurred in his stomach area.

When he looked down, Rebellion's claws pierced through him. He couldn't move away, he have to feel that pain. Rebellion took it's claws out, pick up Tai, and slammed him into the ground. "TAI!!" Everyone cried. That cause him to black out. Shadow Tai was enjoying it though. "Oh man, this despair is great. Everyone's favorite Hero has fallen!" "Why you!" Flare charged at him but Rebellion stepped in front of him. "No, no." Rebellion punched Flare, knocking against the wall. Shadow Tai started to laugh, uncontrollably. "WHO CAN STOP ME!! THE RULER OF THIS NEW WORLD!!" As he said that, the portal above them grew bigger and mist started to cover the field. "What is this?" Hallie asked with drowsiness. "I...think...it's...." Masayo and Luke collapsed, followed by Hallie and Blair. Shadow Tai kept laughing. "This is perfect. Now nothing can get in my way."

Tai opened his eyes see that he is not at the battlefield. He remembers about Rebellion and checks his stomach, but he was fine. "Thank goodness." He looks around. He was in a white subspace. He just began to walk. After walking a bit, some screens started to pop up. "What is this?" They had something playing on it. He looked at them to find out what they was. "This can't be..." The screen he was looking at was when he first met Rosena. Another one was showing when he fought that jock who was messing with Blair. All the screens were lined up as if they were leading him to somewhere. They were playing key events of his past. From fighting Kronos to retrieving Flare from Tyson. At the end of the path, there was a man with black hair, and a lab coat watching the matches with the Guardian Devastators. He must has noticed Tai's presence, because he turned around when Tai was near him. "Hello Tai." Tai eyes widen. "Mr. Haris?!"

Haris nodded and looked back at the matches. "You may have questions, but now is not the time." He snapped his fingers and the scene changed into the current fight with Tai and Flare unconscious. "You, the Legendary Rainbow Guardian, and the Sacred Guardian need to combine your powers to defeat this foe." "But how we do that? He seems to have a counter for our attacks!" Haris approaches Tai, put he hands on his shoulders, and looked him dead in front of his face. "Haven't you manage to defeat Kronos?" He nodded. "Haven't you manage to get Flare back from his clutches?" He nodded once again. "Then what are you afraid for?" Tai remember what Rebellion had done to him and how his was frozen in time, almost lifeless. He looked at his hand, it was shaking. Fear was overtaking him. Haris sighed and backed away. "To think that my wife chose you to be successor. If you can't get of this, how will you save the world?" "I..I..." Haris shook his head. "Pathetic. Maybe Blair would be a better pick. I mean she did overcome the shadows in her heart." "No, she can't!" "And why not? If you nor she can't save the world from destruction, then who can?" Tai cletch his hand a couple times until it stop shaking. "This world needs a Guardian. My friends, Flare, the Guardians. They need me to be brave. So, I will become the Ultimate Golden Guardian and save this world from despair!" A golden light surrounded him and Haris smiled. "Then go do it." Tai nodded and jumped towards the screen.

On the field, Tai gain some conscious, but coughed up some blood. There was a hole through his stomach. He slowly got up and approach Flare. Shadow Tai noticed. "So you're still alive after that attack huh?" Tai ignored him and tried to wake up Flare. "Hey buddy, can't be sleeping on the job." He shook him a bit. Then Flare slowly woke up. "Uh...Tai...?" He nodded. "Tch Rebellion, finish them." It pick up part of the floor then threw it towards Tai and Flare. But they didn't worry about that. "Let's save the world, shall we?" Tai offered his hand. "Right." Flare took it before both were crushed by the piece that Rebellion threw. "Hmph. About time." When he thought it was over, a golden light shined from the place. "What?" The light busted from under there and energy went into the sky. "When the power to go beyond combines with the possibility of our future!" "The possibilities are endless!" "ACCEL EVOLUTION!!!" Clouds parted and two holy figures transcended to the field. One was Tai in his Guardian mode in golden clad armor with the world's symbols on it, and a helmet covering his head except his mouth. Flare was also in golden clad armor, carrying a orange sword with the world's symbols on it. "How is this possible?!" "We went beyond our limits, which resulted in Accel Evolution." They said in unison. "Accel Evolution...." "Now prepare yourself!"
