"It's not me." Keefe raised his hands up. Linh scrutinized him, her clear, icy blue eyes squinting. Then she sighed and plopped back onto her beanbag. "How are we supposed to know?"
"I could try to search people," Tam offered.
I thought about that. "Tam, sorry to burst your bubble, but some people might find that just plain creepy."
Tam looked around wildly. "I have a bubble? Where?" I groaned and slapped my forehead.
"It's getting late, we should all go to sleep. Maybe we can talk about this later," Linh urged. Alden appeared in the doorway.
"Linh's right." He yawned. The group got up. I walked toward the Leapmaster. "Wait, Sophie." Linh grabbed my hand.
"Mmm?" I asked. "We should talk. Somewhere more private. Just the two of us," she quickly added as Keefe edged toward us. Without a word, Linh pulled me into the flashing light.
