Sesshomaru's Pov
          I frowned slightly as the wound on my arm got worse.  For some reason, it wouldn't heal.  It should have healed and been gone last night, but instead, it had opened wider and deeper.  I sighed, sitting down by a tree to relax until I heard faint voices.

          "I saw a demon fly into the forest last night.  It was wounded and didn't fly out.  We need to kill it before it gets us."  A female voice yelled, followed by shouts.  People began to enter the forest.

          My arm started to throb and turn a deep purple color.  'That demon must have poisoned me, that's why it smiled when I shoved my claws deep into its flesh.'

          "Look! There it is! Get it!" A man yelled an arrow whizzed by my head as I got up. I hovered a bit before flying off.  "Towards that girl. she'll help me, just let me get there. And then, my body, you can fail."

You're pov

          I smiled. The younger children were giving me flowers and berries. As I sat in the field, Winter next to me, the older children played tag. 

          "Can I go play, mama?" Winter asked, her eyes growing wider. I looked at her, an innocent smile on her face as she looked at the other kids playing. 

          "Winter you can go play, but- Why did you call me mama?" I asked. She just smiled at me, hugging and rubbing her face against mine. 

          "Because you're my new mama," She replied. "You took me in and take care of me, so you're my mama," she said, letting go and running up to the other children, as I gazed up into the sky.

          "Gross! Get away, you filthy half demon! We don't want you playing with us! Go away!" The older children yelled.  The sound snapped my gaze to them as they started throwing rocks at Winter. She ducked her head down, placing her hands over her head to protect herself the best she could. I hurriedly got up and ran to her.

          "Stop that! You all stop that, right now!" I yelled. But it didn't seem to get their attention. Fwoomp!  Suddenly, something landed behind them making them turn to see Sesshomaru he looked terrible he was holding his right arm as the children backed away then ran off yelling demon his eyes locked with mine as his body collapsed my heart stopped as he hit the ground I ran as fast as I could to him rolling him over to see his wound " oh god Sesshomaru what happened to you what can I do to help " I asked trying to wrap his wound with my scarf stopping the bleeding

" it's poison you'll need a herb to heal it " he said slowly trying not to move stopping the poison from spreading suddenly a few shouts got my attention I turned to see kagome running to me

" (y/n) the kids said that they were attacked by a demon are you alright " she asked as she ran to me upon seeing Sesshomaru hurt on the ground her eyes widened
" what happened what's wrong " she asked looking at his wound

" he said that I needed a herb because he got poisoned protecting me do you know what I need " I asked her as she looked around

" yeah the group and I will head out to his field and get some healing herbs you stay here with him and take care of him " she said giving me a hug then running back to tell the group the news

" winter go collect some fire wood we're staying right here tonight " I said as she looked at me and ran into the woods as I started to look for a place I could make a shelter a tree that was large enough that it would protect us if it rained I grabbed long sticks and placed them against the trees binding them together with a ribbon from my kimono I looked at my work and smiled those survival classes I took did a good job
