Rita and Moira

Chapter Three Getting to Know Rick Sanchez

"Moira, you gotta wake up. You have to get up." Rick said

"Aren't you supposed to be on your side of the line? At least respect the boundaries, Rick. Where the hell are Rita and Morty?" I asked

"The hell I know, I woke up twenty five minutes ago and both of them were gone." Rick said

"Why didn't you get me up sooner, you crazed lunatic? My aunt has been abducted." I said

"Yeah, my grandson's gone, too, Moira. You're not the only one here." Rick said

"Well at least Morty's parents actually care about him my parents and twin brother don't give a crap about me. Rita's the only relative that actually cares about me. She's really the only family I have, so if you think that, just stay out of my way, I'll find Rita and Morty myself." I said

"You are not going to find them alone, you're gonna need some help." Rick said grabbing my shoulder

"Fine, just keep five to ten feet apart." I said

"At least let me lead the way." Rick said

"Remember, keep your distance." I said

"You've got yourself a deal." Rick said

"Rita? Morty?" I called out

"Morty, Rita?!" Rick yelled

"Rita, Morty, would you please answer us? For God sake, Rita. I am cutting you off from any alcohol as soon as we get back home." I said

"You shouldn't be so hard on her, Moira." Rick said

"I'm just scared to lose her, Rick. She's one of the only friends I ever had. I never had many friends, especially since my parents think of me as a screw up. They have hated me since I was born, they always favored my twin brother Seth over me. They thought of me as a mistake." I said

"You mean, your parents have always hated you?" Rick asked

"It's not like I can say that my parents show any ounce of respect for me. It's always 'Seth this, Seth that, Moira, why can't you be more like your brother?' It's exhausting living in my brother's shadow, you have no idea what it's like to be neglected and shunned by most of your family." I said

"You have more than just Rita as a friend, you have Morty, and you have me." Rick said

'I stopped, slowly glancing to face Rick, tears come to my eyes, I drop to my feet, wiping my eyes. I clear my throat and continue to follow Rick as I look up at the sky, as Rick puts his hand on my shoulder, I look at him with worry in my eyes..'

"We'll find them, Moira." Rick said

"And if we don't...?" I asked

"We will find Rita and Morty, as your friend, I can promise you that we'll find them." Rick said

"Dammit. How are we going to find them?" I asked

"Their tracks just stop.." Rick trailed off

"Rick.. Look up." I said, tapping his shoulder

"Morty. Wake up." Rick said

"Thank God, you're alright, Rita." I said

"Moira." Rita said

"Rick..." Morty said trailing off

"I'm gonna shoot the both of you down. Hold onto something." Rick said

"Moira, are you alright?" Rita asked

"I'm fine, Rita." I said

"Rick, do you think that it would be possible if we were to... Feed off your blood..?" Morty asked

"Moira, run! It's not Morty and Rita. They are bloodsucking parasites sent to lure us into a..." Rick cut off as we were placed in separate cages

"Trap.. I don't know how we're gonna get out of here, Moira." Rick said

"Where are you taking us, you little freaks?" I said

"Moira, I wouldn't antagonize them, you don't know what these a-holes will do to us if you mouth off like that." Rick said

"Maybe these guys took Rita and Morty. We need to get out of here, Rick." I said

"Bring the female carbon unit to me." A mysterious voice said

'It was then I was released from the cage, and I was held hostage at gun point while they tied my wrists behind my back as they shoved me at their leader's feet...'

"Hey, don't you put your slimy little hands on her." Rick said

"Rick, help me." I whispered

"Shut up, sweetheart." The second in command said throwing me to the ground

"Hey, ease up you little maggots. That is precious cargo you're throwing around. Now step away from her, and take us to the woman and the kid." Rick said

"We have no idea what you're talking about, old man. Take the girl out of those clothes and into something more... ...comfortable, and take the old man to the dungeon and lock him up." The leader said

"Promise me that you won't hurt him." I said "We promise that no harm will come to your boyfriend." The leader said

"No, he's not my boyfriend. We're acquaintances." I said

'We were locked up and chained in separate rooms, I was dressed like an intergalactic love slave while Rick was chained to the wall, being forced to watch as I was about to go through unspeakable torture..'

"Moira, you have to get me down from here." Rick said

"Kind of tied up at the moment, Rick. Do you not see the shackles and chains attached to my wrists and the floor?" I said sharply

"Whoa, Moira. Take it easy." Rick said, freeing himself and then myself

"Rita, Morty!" I called

"Morty, Rita!" Rick yelled

"Rick!" Morty called

"Moira, help us." Rita called

"Hang on, we're coming. Rick, how are we gonna get up there?" I asked

'Rick had taken a grappling hook from his labcoat...'

"Moira, quick, grab hold of me." Rick said

'I grasped onto him tightly as we headed toward where Rita and Morty were trapped, he had them taken a laser and melted the bars, when we were suddenly surrounded by guards...'
