why are people eve bitching about it. like I get opinions and stuff but shut the fuck up. it's so good
the argument is that top removed the integrity and passion from it but honestly I feel like the cover is so eerie and depicts the loneliness the sufferer feels. obvs the original by mcr is going to be more personal bc they fucking wrote it. but it's good that twenty one pilots was able to pull off the song their own way.
their cover gives the song more of an empty feeling whilst the original feels helpless.
either way I absolutely love both bands and I think that's it's an honor to hear a mcr cover by twenty one pilots 🌻
I have idols in both of those bands and if you don't know who I'm talking about I highly suggest you do!
