-Christine's POV-

A day from William's party and a day out of hospital, I sat with the now two year old boy and plate of leftover cake. And when I say leftover, what I mean is that Niall bought some more cake today so we could celebrate William's birthday privately, seeing as I was sick yesterday.

I will admit, I still feel slightly under the weather, but thanks to Niall's care and a lot of panamax, I'm feeling a whole lot better.

"Babe," Niall walked into the room with two mugs, "have you had your tablets yet today?" I groaned and shook my head.

"No." The doctors subscribed basically heavier stuff than what I had originally been taking, and so far it's been working. I've bounced back in just under twenty four hours so that's a plus.

"Well lucky for you," he sat down beside me and placed the mugs down, "I brought them." He took the box of tablets from his pant pocket and shook them while wiggling his eyebrows. I chuckled at the boy and let him hand the packet. "Remember to take two."

"I know baby," the pet name slipped past my tongue as I froze, seeing how I felt about it. Was it weird?

"Chri!" William took back my attention as he leant back into my chest, staring up at me with a cheeky smile.

"Hey you," I smiled, opening the packet and popping out two tablets, "what are you smiling at huh?" William smiled before errupting into giggles.

"He's probably thinking about how people Christine is!" Niall pulled William into his lap and ducked his down on his lap. William burst out laughing as Niall smiled widely at his son. "What's this huh? Is this cake?" Niall took his shirt and wiped over William's mouth to rid the smooshed cake that William couldn't quite get.

Lifting the mug, I downed my two tablets and put the packet on the coffee table before watching the two boys.

"I love you," Niall leant down and blew raspberries on William tummy.

"Da!" William yelled laughing as I took out my phone, capturing the father and son moment.

Instagram here we come.

"You know who else daddy loves?" Niall pulled William into his chest and looked at me. "Daddy loves Christine too." My heart melted at his words as he leant towards me for a kiss.

"I'm sick Niall," I giggled as Niall shrugged, taking an arm and pulling it around my waist.

"You're worth getting sick for."

Rolling my eyes at his words, I smiled to myself and leant forward, Niall encouraging me with the pull of his hand on my waist. But what he wasn't expecting to was for the kiss to only be a short one.

With a peck, I leant away to see Niall pout and William crawl between both of us towards the cake again.

"Hold on," Niall began as I chuckled, putting the plate of cake on the coffee table, "I was wanting a longer kiss." I hummed.

"Were you now?" Niall knelt up and moved closer to me. "And, how do you plan on doing that," I played with the hem of his shirt teasingly, "when I'm sick?" Niall bit his lip and brushed his thumb over my cheek.

"I don't care for your sickness baby girl. I have an immune system stronger than your sickness." Was he trying to sound seductive while talking about sicknesses?

"Well if you get sick, don't say I didn't warn you." Niall hummed and brought our lips together, kissing slowly yet openly. Our lips could move against each other as our breaths mingled together.

I shouldn't be feeling so hot and flustered with a two year old on my lap, but damn. Niall works wonders.

"Baby," Niall hummed, clutching his fingers around my sides. If Niall gets sick, this is so worth it.

Suddenly, my phone began to go off as I groaned, trying to reach for it without breaking the kiss.

"Ignore it." Niall breathed and pulled away momentarily. But with a chuckle, I brought the phone up to my ear, answering it.

"Hello?"

"Guess who?" Indie's voice rang throughout the phone.

"Hey girly," I smiled as Niall took William into his lap, though the toddler reached eagerly for the floor, "what's up?"

"Oh nothing, you know, just thought we'd..." The apartment's front door then slammed open and Louis and Indie stepped inside, Indie smirking over at me. "Pop in." She finished and hung up.

"Guys," Niall sighed, "really?" Indie chuckled as Louis flashed the spare set of keys. "Why did I give Louis those keys?" He mumbled to himself as you sniffled back.

"How are you Christine?" Indie came over and gave me a squeeze.

"A bit dull but, better." You nodded as she beamed.

"Great!" Then looking at Louis, he then flashed a plastic bag full of food. "Because we wanted to stay the night and have a sleepover." Niall groaned as Louis walked to the kitchen while Niall stood with William.

"Nobody asked first." Pouting at your friend, she simply shrugged and looked back down at you.

"Did we interrupt something?" She wiggled an eyebrow as I bit my lip.

"Maybe," taking the packet of tabletsand my mum, I joined Louis in the kitchen, Indie on my trail. Damn Niall made some nice coffee. "So what do we have? Seeing as you guys won't take no as an answer." It was true; they were more alike than they thought these two. Thick as theives they were.

Niall soon entered the kitchen without William, and I trusted he put him somewhere safe and entertaining.

"We have," Louis began listing food as he took it out of the plastic bag while Niall came through with his mug and the plate of cake, "chocolates, popcorn, chips, chocolate, biscuits and a full packet of ice blocks, all bought by yours truly." Louis smirked as Niall came back to me and wrapped his arms around me from behind. I leant into his touch as Indie scoffed playing and popped her hip out sassily.

"Only because you wouldn't let me pay."

"Ladies don't pay," Louis shrugged and opened the freezer door with his elbow, "not with me anyway." He smirked.

"Exactly. That's why I should have paid pretty boy." Oh god. These two were flirting right before us. I intertwined my fingers with Niall as he kissed my shoulder.

"So what's the plan?"

"Movies and junk food along with a sleepover." Louis said throwing a packet of chips at Indie.

"Well," I shrugged, "couldn't be that bad."

. . .

This is really all over the place, I'm sorry guys :(
