41. The Qur’an has been described by 55 names and qualities in various of its verses. These include: Kitaab, Kalaam, Noor, Huda, Rahmah, Furqaan, and so on.

42. Every day in prayer we repeatedly recite the verse of Surah al-Faatihah which says, “Guide us to the straight path.” This is one of most comprehensive and beneficial supplications.

43. In the Qur’an, Allah cursed those who knew the truth and did not follow it, and those who acted based on ignorance. People who act in a similar manner to these two types of people will be exposed to the wrath of Allah.

44. In many instances, the Prophetﷺ would recite verse 84 of Surah al-‘Imraan in the first rak’ah of the Sunnah of Fajr. The verse reads, “ Say, “We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him.”{Surat Al Imr’an 3: Verse 84}

45. Verse 19 in Surah Muhammad states, “So know that there is no deity except Allah.” One of the greatest ways of knowing that there is no deity except Allah is by pondering and contemplating over the beautiful Names and lofty Attributes of Allah.

46. Allah says, “And ask forgiveness for your sin” {Surat Ghaafir 40: Verse 55}. This means: seek your Lord’s forgiveness by supplicating to Him for forgiveness, sincere repentance, engaging in good deeds which erase sins, leaving sins, overlooking people’s faults and doing good to them, and this is includes asking Allah to forgive them.

47. Allah defends the believers from the evils of this world and the Hereafter. Allah says, “Truly, Allah defends those who believe” {Surah Al-Hajj 22: Verse 38}.

48. When believers fall into calamities and difficult situations, Allah removes them from such situations. One way of attaining Allah’s help is making the supplication which was made by prophet Yoonus when he was swallowed by the whale. He said: لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers” {Surah Al-‘Ambiyaa‘ 21: Verse 87}.

49. Allah’s guidance of the people to knowledge, action, knowing the truth and following it, is based on Eemaan and fulfilling its rights. Allah said, {Surah Al-Maa‘idah 5: Verse 16}.

50. He who has an atom’s weight of pride will not enter Paradise. Allah said, “And do not walk on the earth with conceit and arrogance” {Surah Al-‘Israa‘ 17: Verse 37}.
