I don't mean to offend anyone with this story but, I was inspired by the KaiStal haters....sooooooo KaiSoo~ Also this will have TaoHun cuz I'm obsessed with them as well as ChanBaek~
If you had asked Kyungsoo how long it had been since he spent quality time with Jongin, he wouldn't be able to give you an exact answer. Since KaiStal had began, loads of people forgot about KaiSoo....except for Kyungsoo. In fact, he missed it. He missed the skin-ship, the hugs, the hand holding and he missed the way Kai would look at him in adoration. It broke Kyungsoo's heart to see Kai with someone else, especially since he was in love with Jongin.
Kyungsoo would spend countless hours thinking of Kai, and what it would be like to date him. Depressing as it sounds, it was the only thing that could make Kyungsoo smile anymore. The memories and scenarios of Kai were the only thing Kyungsoo had now since Kai was with her. Jongin had introduced Krystal to the boys and since then, Kyungsoo disliked her with the upmost of passion. How he wished Kai never met her.
"Hey hyung!" Sehun called up to his room, "Yeah?" He questioned, "Suho made dinner, are you going to come eat?" Kyungsoo sighed, he hadn't eaten in about 2-3 weeks and although he wasn't hungry, he knew he should eat. "Yeah, I'm coming..." Kyungsoo stood up and walked out of his room, heading towards the dining-room. "Soo! Wow, you're joining us for dinner?!" Kai joked, "Yeah.." Kyungsoo mumbled, forcing a laugh, "Alright well come on you guys, dinner isn't gonna eat itself." The guys all laughed at Xiumin's joke, all except Kyungsoo.

The guys were having movie night and asked Kyungsoo if he wanted to join. He didn't know if he wanted to but Baekhyun convinced him to at least stay for the first 15 minutes. So there he was, sitting right next to Kai on the edge of the couch, right behind a cuddling ChanBaek. Everyone was waiting for the movie to start since Suho wouldn't watch it without snacks and drinks, plus Sehun invited Tao over so they had to wait for him too. When the movie did finally start everyone was excited, except for Kyungsoo.
Kyungsoo stood up to leave and no one noticed but Kai, "Hey," He whispered, "where are you going?" "I'm going to my room...the movie isn't very exciting." Kyungsoo answered, but Kai could tell he was lying. He knew something was wrong, so that's why he followed Kyungsoo up to his room. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
"Who is it?" Kyungsoo asked, "It's me~ Your very best friend Jongin~" Kyungsoo sighed and let Kai in his room, then sat back down on his bed, "Hey, what's wrong? You haven't been yourself lately....is everything okay?" Kai asked, sounding worried, "Yeah....everything's good, why do you ask?" Kyungsoo answered, "Like I said, you just haven't been yourself lately, not since I started dating Krystal.." When Kai mentioned her name it felt like a knife went through Kyungsoo's heart. He felt like crying.
"I'm fine." The tone in Kyungsoo's voice was obvious, he wasn't okay. "Soo....you're my best friend...you can tell me anything.......you know that." Kai spoke softly as he sat next to Kyungsoo, it was pretty nice knowing that Jongin still cared about Kyungsoo, but it still hurt him to be around Kai. "I can't tell you because...if I do you'll hate me and you'll never want to look at me again, and I don't want that to happen because I can't stand the thought of you avoiding me.." Kai smiled slightly and wrapped an arm around Kyungsoo's shoulders, bringing him closer.
"Soo....that'll never happen. You're always going to be my best friend, no matter what. Now, tell me what's wrong.." Kyungsoo sighed, "I....I'm in love with you.....I'm sorry.." Kai froze, eyes wide and eyebrows raised, "You....what?" Kyungsoo bit his bottom lip and pulled away from Kai, "I told you you'd hate me....." Kyungsoo mumbled, "...just go.....you were better off not knowing..." Kyungsoo moved away from Kai and turned away. Kai didn't speak, he just walked out of Kyungsoo's room, and looked behind him before closing the door and walking away.
