So I hang out with my friends today.
It was as usual chatting and joking, until you came.
At first I didn't notice you although your table was right next to ours.
And then my friends were gone, your friends were gone, everything was gone,
Everything but you .
During the whole hour that you have stayed in the coffee shop, I kept on trying to get a good look at your face and I was happy .
During that hour I didn't have to keep thinking about where you could be or what you could be doing, you were there infront of my eyes .
Everytime I felt happy it didn't last and this time was no different because you stood up saying you wanted to go home and I watched you .
This time I didn't pretend to be watching something behind you I looked into your eyes until you lifted you head and looked at me too ,I was sure my face was red but I didn't care!
I wanted to see you and I wanted you to see me, thinking that maybe you'll understand if you looked into my eyes.
We held each other's gaze for seconds.
Then you turned your back to me and left .
Couldn't you have stayed a bit longer?
I would have been grateful.
You would have spared me the sadness .
