Today was a fine and sunny day. Thomas and Lucy were both in a quiet fishing village collecting fish for Henry at the docks. Lucy wasn't really a fan of the smell of fish, but she slowly began to tolerate the smell of it. Sure, it wasn't as nice as a bouquet of flowers, but she's slowly getting the smell out of it.

But, as they wait, they watch the workmen load their trucks with the crates of fish. They were taking a long time due to using old equipment and tools.
"At this rate, we'll be late to meet with Henry and his train at Brendam Docks." Thomas sighed anxiously. "He won't like that at all. Please, hurry up and-"
Thomas was then rudely interrupted. Suddenly, a large crate of fish broke free from the chains on an old crane, and it fell on Thomas's boiler. The crate broke apart, and fish fell everywhere, along with the ice that kept them chilled. Also, Lucy was covered in the smell of fish, and she looked very disgusted by this.

"Gross." Lucy shivered in disgust.
"Phew." Thomas sniffed. "What a pong."
The two didn't have time to get cleaned up, as they were due to meet with Henry tonight. They chuffed down the coastal route, trying to make up for lost time at the village, but they were stopped by a man waving a red flag further down the line. It was the lighthouse keeper waving them down.
