3 weeks later.

The day everyone's nightmare has come. The expedition to outside the wall will start in 30 minutes. I am watching Isabel, Farlan and Levi gear themselves up. I crossed my arm smiling to Isabel.

"I hope your three weeks training has already improve you in 3DMG and slicing the neck now, Isabel." I said as I saw her checking the gas. She pouted.
"Of course I am! I have spend all those weeks just training 3DMG and slicing the neck. I could beat you up and took your place." she said laughing proudly. I smirked.

"Just be safe out there, kiddo"
I said ruffled her hair. She grunted and smiled. "I'll be okay sis, I will tell you everything about the expedition when I come back." she said as she ride her horse. "I'm going now, see ya sis." she said and went forward to other stand-by cadets.

I turned around and walk towards Farlan and Levi who keep talking together from the start. It seems like a serious conversation.

"What are you guys talking about? The atmosphere seems so intense." I said in hope to join the conversation. They stared at each other.

"Well, (y/n) , we'll be fine out there so don't sweat yourself thinkin about us and training your ass off." Farlan said patted my head. I frowned at him. He gasped. He laughed nervously. "W-well, im going now." he said and leave me and Levi alone.

I turned to look at Levi. He surprised by my sudden stare.
"I know you're strong, but those giant is bigger than you. He could gulp you up without chewing you. What I want to say is, be careful and be cautious." I said crossed my arm with my furrowed eyes.

"If you join the expedition, things woud be easier." he said as the commander called for everyone to stand by immediatly.

I smiled. I grabbed his head and put his forehead onto mine. I closed my eyes.

"I believe in you. I leave Isabel under your care. Please protect her." I paused for a while and continue.

"Please come back safely."

After a while, I opened my eyes and saw his face got a slight blush on his cheekbones. His warm breath came from him make my heart skips a beat. I blushed a little and chuckled.

"We're just like a lover , right?"
I asked him to cheer up the mood. He hastily pulled his face away from me. "I'll be going now.
you make sure don't slack off while im gone." he said and left went to join other cadets.

I smiled. Everyone is now at the gate on their horses. I looked at Isabel with worried look. She saw my uneasiness and put up and thumbs up. I giggled. She wants to tell me that she's doing okay. I nodded.

As the gate rise from the ground, all of the cadets who joined the expedition charge forward with their horses to outside of the wall. All of the citizens cheered for them.At least all of the cheering from them raised up our morale.

I grip the pendant around my neck hard. The pendant my dad gave me when I was a child. He said its symbolize our family. The Ackerman family. He said to keep wearing it. It will give me the will to keep moving forward .

I closed my eyes and hope for the best.

Its been 7 hours since the expedition started.

I am now with my squad at training ground for training. They all lined up in front of me waiting for my orders. Well, they are goofing around before start training.

I looked down to the ground. My head feel so heavy thinking about them. I just hope they make it out there. I closed my eyes and take a deep breath.
