You find yourself under the Elder Tree, where all former Alphas and Betas' spirits guide the pack. You must sleep in the small den under the Elder Tree to become a high-ranked wolf, and you will awake feeling stronger. Then you are officially the Alpha/Beta.

Making your way down the cliff, you tread carefully along the mossy fallen tree, and feel the familiar well-worn stone of the path back to the main den. You splash through the shallowest bits of the water and step into the den, the waterfall soaking your coat.

You look around the surprisingly dry cave, and glance left. Closest to the waterfall on the left is the Beta's den, where the Beta male and Female (mates) sleep together and raise their pups.

On the right, next to the waterfall, is the Alpha's Den. The Alpha pair lives there, and few who enter without permission return.

You pad forward confidently, ignoring the dens on either side of the waterfall, targeting a large-mouthed cave. You enter the den of the Subordinates, glancing around at the rubble which wolves sleep on, under and sometimes in.

Backing out of that den, you sniff carefully and enter one tunnel with a tiny entrance. The cave widens gradually until you are standing in the biggest and most comfortable den of all. Although the den seems deserted, one sniff will tell you that this isn't the real the den of the pups and their mothers. At one year, pups move in with the subordinates. Your mouth widens with awe as you slide through the hidden tunnel to the real pup den.

The colors of the giant crystals dance, illuminated by some hidden light.

You step back into the main den and feel the breeze ruffle your fur. You turn to the final den, and the secret exit, where the Omega pair (Fated to never have their own pups while they remained Omegas) slept.
