With a huff I take my seat in class, still the same old boring
Who did Cole think he was? He is so pessisant of something that doesn't concern him, I should be more careful around him
"Hi"I look beside me and see a girl with red hair and green eyes staring at me nervousness written on her entire face, I know her she's a friend of Cole
"I am kelly"She says with a small smile
"Celeste"I reply an eyebrow raised as I observe her, why was she talking to me?
"So...um.... I see you are a friend if Cole's?"She says as she fiddles with her fingers
"Me and Cole aren't even close to friends, why are you asking?"I ask and she shakes her head
"Are you jealous?"I tease her an eyebrow raised and her eyes widens and she stares at me as if I have killed her husband or something
"Me and Cole?!"She asks as she starts laughing
"No, no I am not I just want to know cause of you two discussion today, sorry for eaves dropping"She says with a smile
"We aren't and It's fine just don't do it again, I hate that"I say a frown on my face and her smile drops and she starts looking nervous
"I-it was nice having a chat with you"She says before looking directly at the board
I was at my locker getting my things when Blake walked up to me, great just great.
"You stupid bitch"he whispered in my ear I frowned
"What?"I asked clearly confused as to why he was insulting me
"Cole came up to me and started asking me questions about the 'bruises' you have."he says his teeth clenched
"You should really make sure you cover up those bruises well cause if he asks me again I will certaintly tell dad"He said a smirk on his lips
"You won't want that will you right?"he asks grinning from ear to ear
"Yes."I said as I tried my best to act brave
"Good and you owe me cousin"he whispers in my ear as he stroked my hand and i shivered in disgust
He smirks at me before walking off leaving me in a daze
I had to be careful around cole
If my uncle found out i slipped up and cole saw my bruises i was dead, i would have reported him a long time time ago but i didn't
Well i did when i was 15 but once they saw my uncle they where shaking and later on realeased me back to my uncle after they had a 'talk'
And i once told my neighbours and they tried to help me but once my uncle found out they back off and moved away or i think they moved away.
My uncle always got what he wanted and he could make people disappear if he wanted to, he wasnt a man to be messed with and anytime i tried to escape he will always find me and bring me back and then beat me up
It was like that everytime and there was nothing i could do about it, maybe for once when I report to a freaking police they won't be corrupt.
With a sigh i got everything i needed for my next class since i was thinking of skipping this period and headed to my normal spot the empty classroom
As i neared the door i heard noises coming from inside, letting my curiosity get the best of me i decided to open the door
My eyes widened at the scene i was seeing, Ruby was pinned to the wall her legs wrapped around a guys waist as they lustfully kissed each other
I looked closer and immediately recognized the boy, it was cole.
Cole was kissing ruby.
I felt angry and i wanted to head over there and seperate them i am pretty sure my face was going to be red from anger but i just stood there watching them as they kissed, they where so engrossed in it they hadn't noticed me
Ruby ran her hands through cole hair as he kissed and i suddenly felt weak and tired as i watched them my heart felt like it was sinking.
And all that was rushing through my mind at that moment was
Why couldn't it be me?
"Are you two done? "I ask as i try to keep my voice from cracking, my lips in a thin line
Cole quickly breaks the kiss upon hearing my voice, he eyes widens as he sees me standing there whil ruby looked pissed as she pulled down her black skirt
"Celeste."she says with a nod
"Ruby. "I say through clenched teeth, ruby sighs and smiles at Cole
"See you later"she says before walking out
"Celeste i-"i cut cole off before he can finish his sentence
"You dont have to explain to me it's your life"i say and he shuts up and clenches his hands in a fist
"Did you talk to blake?"i ask and he stares at me for a while before speaking
"Yes" he says and i frown
"I told you before mind your business i dont need you help"i say
"I can't! "He yells and i jump back startled
"Celeste"he says as he walks closer to me, he pulls me into a tight embrace, even though i wanted to push him away and yell at him, i couldn't
"I am worried about you, i really am"he whispers and i bite my lips as I slowly wrap my hands around his waist
"You dont have to, i am fine. "I say,i wanted to tell him the truth, everything rant to him and all, but i couldnt it wont only put me in danger but him too, i didnt want that and i am celeste i can handle myself and in just a few months i will be out of that house.
