It all began when he fell in love at first sight,
For your smile that appeared on that night.

Smiles and laughter then ensued,
The perfect future you both pursued.

Adventures had and promises made,
Troubles and worries away were laid.

You had your doubts, said you were weak,
He reassured you as he caressed your cheek.

You see him smile with utmost care,
But in his heart he's just as scared.

The more you speak of your past,
The more he fears of how long you'll last.

He understands why your heart would shake,
But do you know why his would ache?

Aware he is of his poor strength,
But still he always goes the length.

With you it seems he is content,
Although for you he feels he's a disappointment.

He sees you as his one and all,
Even when you don't break his fall.

To think that he was the one who sunk so deep,
He felt your love, out, it started to seep.

To think that you can still put a smile on your face,
As you both speak of the end of the race.

Knowing that your promised forever,
Could very well end up never.

To think that with all his heart he believed,
Unfortunately now he feels he might not be able to achieve.

When he is angered, he keeps silent,
But only because he knows his words are violent.

Sometimes he is denying and concealing,
Truth is he regrets hurting your feelings.

Though consistently misunderstood,
He tries his best to do what's good.

He wants to face the storms together,
No matter the time, no matter the weather.

Mistakes will be made by both of you,
Do you know that you're capable of it too?

Only hoping for you to understand,
Now he feels alone he stands.

When he worries he might mess up,
Truly he only wishes to be held up..

Remember if you ever do him wrong,
He'll help you do better and just get along.

Even though you'd rather say whatever,
He gave you his word, you are his forever.

You might not believe he'll always be there,
Just please don't regret when there's no more time left to spare.

You should know that you are his world, the love of his life,
Someday he'll be able to make you his wife.

Today, tomorrow, he'll always believe in you,
Until the day you finally say "I do."

Abide in him and in you he will abide,
Now will you finally decide?

I love you, I need you to know though, what I've been meaning to say is that I can't bear to just standby and watch my loved ones lose themselves, I have to keep trying to help them, save them if I'm able to.

So if I ever lose myself and end up doing something bad, can I count on you to help find me again? Will you stick with me through thick and thin, the good and the bad?

Think carefully and tell me whenever, I don't mind waiting forever.
