You run toward the house as fast as you can. From behind you, the sound of a small motor starting boosts your adrenaline. It sounds like a chainsaw, and chainsaws in spooky settings are never good. You run up to the door, but it's locked tight. You pick up a chair on the porch and try to break a window with it, but it doesn't even leave a crack. Behind you, a chainsaw wielding scarecrow is fast approaching. You need to place some serious distance between the two of you. You take off running again.
