As the lift ascend, the group of students were all but given up. The sounds of the undead were all but silent. Their only teacher stayed behind to slow the horde down, but all in all, she gave her life to protect her students. Yang growl with frustration, hating to be unable to do anything, to feel...... Useless. Then, they hear a woman's agonizing scream, which was silenced immediately, followed by a fearsome roar, leaving them with one dreadful outcome....... She has fallen victim to the horde. Yang yell out and slam her fist on the floor.

"Dammit! Dammit! We could've helped her! We shouldn't have leave her behind!" Yang rant out in frustration. Weiss angrily shot back at her.

"And you think you can fare well against hundreds, maybe thousands of those things? Go ahead! Be my guest! Ms. Sarah knew her life was at its end, so she sacrificed herself to help us get away."

Yang quickly face Weiss and stand in front of her, her eyes glowing red with fury.

"I could've take them on! I....."

Before she can finish, she was slapped by Yuhzuha. Her eyes were streaming with tears, but her eyes also held frustration.

"Yang, can't you see what's happening?! Look around! We're on our own now! We can't afford to be reckless! We lost both our teachers! Two of the best huntsmen! And they sacrificed themselves to help us get out!"

Yang held her cheek, but her eyes start to soften, losing the red glow and returning to normal. She realize the gravity of the situation. Ruby and Albus are still missing. They're still trapped in an underground bunker of sorts with hordes of undead and other monsters. She shake her head in shame.

"Think, Yang. You still want to find your sister?" Yuhzuha ask Yang, who nod in response to her question. "Then let's stop fighting amongst ourselves and figure out the next step."

She call for the rest of the others to huddle together. They are weary and low on motivation. Their eyes lost their glow of life.

"Look, I know it seems all hope is lost. But we still gotta keep fighting! Or else, our teachers' sacrifice will be for nothing. Please, I beg of you! We must keep fighting! To live! To take Umbrella down!" Yuhzuha yell out, trying to bring hope back.

As they listen, they can feel their hearts refilling with hope, with newfound, restored passion. They raise their fists up and put together. They have each other. They must watch out for each other and care for each other. They all nod in unison. They then look at the map to see where they are. They see they are on the silo part that leads to the top where the exit lie. As they plan their next move, they feel the platform they're on, starting to shake. They look around to see what's causing it.

Venoct and Zaria went up to the rails and look down. They see nothing. Then, Nicola call out to the others and point at above. They see a maintenance shaft above them. They hear thundering footsteps until the creature reveal itself. It appear to be similar like the lickers they saw at the lab area, but bigger and bulkier. Its exposed muscles are now black with slight red throughout its body. Its fangs are as long as daggers. It roar out at them, shaking the surrounding area.

The group ready themselves, but they see they're at a disadvantage. The platform they're on is old and barely working due to age and not being used in a long time. Plus, the creature looks very heavy and bulky. They do not want to risk it getting on the platform.

"Looks like one of those brain faced creatures decided to work out." Yang point out, smirking as she is ready for a fight. Damian shake his head.
