Suffocating Love {Kaneki x Reader}

The First Date

   You wake up to the sun shining in your face through the window blinds. You turned your head to the clock sitting on your beside table.
     "Ugh it's 9:00am that's to early". You said.
     You turn back over and pulled the sheets over your head. Next to you is your boyfriend Kaneki. You guys live together. When you pulled the covers over your head it's wakes Kaneki
up.
     "Good morning sleepy head". He softly said.
*yawn* "Good morning". You reply.
    You stared to close your eyes again, and before you know it you fall back to sleep.
  An hour or two later you wake back up. You look to your left and see that Kaneki isn't in the bed. You get up out the bed and walked out your room. You walk down a little hallway and turn into the kitchen. As you go to the sink to wash your hands before you eat, you happened to look to you left and see Kaneki sitting on the couch. You walk over to him to see what he's up to.
     "Whatchya doing". You ask.
"Looking through this photo album I found you look so cute when you were little".
     You blush a little and sit next to him. As he's flipping through the album he comes across a photo that stops him.
     "Our first date". He says.
"Oh I remember it was at the school carnival".         
     You start to remember that Day

Flash back

"Well we're here". Kaneki says with excitement as he removes his hands from your eyes.
"Oh my god it's a carnival". You say excitedly.
     Both of you started walking to the booth you pay for tickets for rides. The sign says
$5.00 = 10 tickets
$10.00 = 15 tickets
$15.00 = 20 tickets
$6.00 = 1 unlimited.
     pass for a limited
     time

"Can you buy the unlimited passes please". You pleaded.
"Ok"
"Yay"
As soon as Kaneki bought the passes you walked in. You an Kaneki so to see which ride to go on first. You both look around for a moment.
     "Hey what about that ride". Kaneki said pointing to the ride. 
     It was a ship that rocked back and forth like a pendulum. It got higher each time it swung.
     "Sure it looks like fun". You said cheerfully.
     You both walk toward the rocking ship to wait in the line. The line wasn't that long. The ship stopped and everyone on the ride got off. The person standing there measures people's height then let them get on. It was your guys turn to get on. You guys sat towards the back. Once everyone got on the guy started the ride. The ride started swing, soon the swings go higher and higher to the point your stomach drops. Most of the people including you and Kaneki started laughing at the funny feeling. Soon the ride stops. You, Kaneki, and everyone else got off the ride.
     Next you guys go play some carnival game. The first game was to throw a ping pong ball in a fish bowl. The bowls were aligned in a square. You spent $3.00 for the balls. You threw each ball and missed everyone. Kaneki did the same and missed
     "Man that game is rigged". You complained.
"Yeah". Kaneki replied.
     After awhile plaing different games you start to get hungry.
     "Hey Kaneki. Are you hungry". You asked
"Actually yeah I am". He replied.
"Ok let's find something to eat"
"Sure"
     You guys walked to this little area with food stands and food trucks. You look around
     "Hey you wanna go get some [fav food]".
"Sure".
You walked up to the stand and waited for someone to come up.
"Hello what would you like". The owner asked cheerfully. 
"May I get two [fav foods] please". Kaneki replied.
"Alright coming right up"
     A few minutes later your food arrives. The owner hands it to you. Kaneki pays for the food like the gentleman he is. You guys go sit down at a little table and starts eating the food.
     After you guys finished you went to go play another game. It's the one you throw darts at balloons. You pay $5 for 5 darts. Kaneki also pays for him. You look around the prize area and see a [fav prize].
"Excuse me". You said to the lady working there. "How many balloons do you have pop to when that prize".
"Uh five balloons"
"Ok thank you"
     You throw your first dart and it's a hit!
You keep throwing darts but only get 3 balloons popped. Kaneki watched you and felt bad so he tried to get five balloons popped but only got 3 too.
     After that you guys go on one last ride. The ferris wheel. You guys waited in line 
     "Ugh my legs hurt from standing". You say randomly.
"Wanna get on my back". Kaneki asked.
"Yea thank you". You say in relief.
     Kaneki bent down. You then hop on his back and he stands up. You guys are a few people away from getting on the wheel. The line started moving. The guy guides us to a yellow seat that had clear walls around it and opens the door. You sat down in the seat. You slide over making room for him. The guy closes the door. After a few more people get on the guy starts there ride. The wheel moved forward in place.
"This is cool looking". You tell Kaneki as the wheel moves closer to the top.
"I know right". He replies.
The wheel slowly reached the top and all of a sudden stops.
"Oh how cliche. The ol' couple gets stuck at the top of the farris wheel". You say.
"Right". Kaneki says slightly irritated.
     A few minutes go by and the wheel is still stuck. You start to feel a little squished in the box. Still stuck up there for some more minutes you start to feel antsy. Soon you start breathing heavily.
"Are you ok [Y/A]". Kaneki said worried.
"Yeah I'm fine". You replied.
The sky was getting dark. You look at your phone for the time.
"It's 7:30pm". You tell Kaneki.
"Wow it's getting late" Kaneki said worried.
Then all of a sudden you felt an urge to move. You stared breathing more heavily to the point you were wheezing.
"Are you sure your ok [Y/N]". Kaneki ask.
You didn't answer instead you started moving around in the seat. Kaneki put his hands around your shoulders.
     "Hey can you hear me [Y/A] are you ok". Kaneki asked again more worried.
You stared make noises of panic which soon turned into light screams.
     "I....I gotta get outta here". You said panicking.
"What do you mean". Kaneki asked.
"I need space I can't take it.  I can't stay here I'm sufficating".
Kaneki knew what was going on. You were claustrophobic.
He held you in his arms as you rocked back in forth with your hands on the side of your head.
     "Ssssssshhhh it's ok. Kaneki said softly. We're gonna get out of here soon. Just close your eyes and take deep breaths".
     You closed your eyes and started breathing. After awhile you felt yourself calming down. Soon you stopped moving and breathing heavy.
     "Are you ok now". Kaneki asked in a calm voice.
"Yeah i think so". Thanks for helping me"
"No problem why wouldn't I. 
You looked up at Kaneki's grey eyes as they sparkled in the slight moon light. You notices he's looking into your [e/c] eyes too.
Then he slowly leans close to you. You both close your eyes. Then your lips meet together. You start kissing. You can feel the passion between you two. You guys stay like that for a minute. Until the sudden movement of the wheel breaks the trance between the two of you. You both laugh at the fact the movement of the wheel scared y'all.
     After that experience you left the carnival. Kaneki walked you to your apartment. At the door when he says goodbye you give him a kiss and walk in the house. Flashback over

"I still can't believe the farris wheel stoppef right at the top". Kaneki said laughing.
"I know right". You said joyfully. Then I had to have a panic attack".
"It was still a pretty good date though". Kaneki said.
"Yea".
     Kaneki closes the book and puts it back where he found it.
     "Do you want some coffee". You ask him.
"Yea sure"
"Ok I'll go make us some".

Hope y'all enjoyed this chapter. I try I'm not really a good writer and I feel like kaneki wasn't talking as much and idk how to change tht so he doesnt
