Natsu's POV:
I continued to watch my friends in envy as they continued to slow dance with one another

"Ugh...stupid love" I muttered to myself as I consumed more of my alcoholic drink

"Why does love even exist?"

I'm awaken from my thoughts by a girlish giggle

I look over to see Levy smiling as she texted on her phone

"Its probably with metal head"

I swear when they say opposites attract they were speaking about those two

"Hey...this could be my chance while everyone else is being all lovely dovey and slow dancing...

"I can ask Levy where Luce is...its perfect but I have to play it cool"

"I can't have Levy knowing I actually care about Lucy at least not right now anyways"

"Hey Levy" I say trying to get the blue haired girl's attention

She finally looks my way and raises an eyebrow at me

"Natsu...what is it?" She asked

"Hey Levy I wanted to ask you where is your blonde haired friend at?"

"I'm kind of surprised she's not here"

"Blonde h...Oh you mean Lucy"

"Yeah...her I figured she'd be here with you to celebrate my release from the hospital" I shrugged nonchalantly trying to play it cool

"I see... Levy says then shoots me a glare

"What's up with the glare" I asked myself

"Well I hate to burst your bubble but... Lucy isn't coming"

Hearing those words was like a stab in the heart but I kept what I was feeling well hidden

"Oh...really why is that?"

"Why would you care?" She retorts

I gulped quietly swallowing the lump in my throat knowing I was about to say something that may result in me getting slapped or worse

"I just wanted to try again convincing her to.... I paused feeling disgusted and sick to my stomach

"Why do I feel sick all of a sudden?" I asked myself

"You wanted to convince her to what Natsu?" Levy asked with her eyebrow raised and her arms crossed

"Oh...I was saying I wanted to try to convince her to get in bed with me...I would love to...*gulps* show her a fiery hot time in my bedroom"
