I have a transgender friend named Chris and he's really awesome and I love him a lot and I know that it's a really shitty feeling to get misgendered, even if it's by accident, so in order to respect the characters and keep y'all out of a state of confusion whilst reading this story, I'm doing a thing. For the first few chapters I'll refer to Jack and Katie by their birth names, so Katie is Katie and Jack is Jack. But eventually, I'm going to put their switched names and preferred pronouns instead, so (Jack) and
/he/ is Katie, and (Katie) and /she/ is Jack. I don't really know how to explain it better, but it'll make more sense as the story progresses.
