This takes place between the Last Olympian and the Lost Hero
Annabeth's P.O.V.
I was with Percy in his cabin, cabin 3, making him help me with my designs for a temple in Olympus. I kept asking his opinions on stuff but he usually only answered with a nod or a "um-huh" or something that made it seem he was going to die of boredom.
I kissed leaned over and his cheek before saying, "I'm going the bathroom, when I get back can you at least try to be more excited?" He looked at me while I gave him a puppy dog face. Finally he moaned dramatically then said, "Fine." I smiled and walked over to the bathroom.
Once I finished my business (which I will NOT describe) I headed over to the sink to wash my hands. I stopped abruptly when I saw a small black dot out of the corner of my eye. When I turn to actually see the spider fully I realized it wasn't small, it was pretty big.
I was about to call Percy to come and kill it but it started to move toward me. I got so scared, since the spider was huge, that my voice didn't work. I wanted to move but my feet didn't respond. I would have cried if any part of my body would work.
After a while of the spider slowly walking toward me and me just standing there Percy finally said something. "Hey, you alright in there?" I didn't respond though I wanted so badly to scream for his help.
I heard his footsteps as he walked toward the bathroom and gently knock on the door. "Annabeth?" he asked. My eyes were on the door but they started to drift back to the spider after Percy stopped talking. Once I saw how close it had come I finally unfroze.
I screamed and Percy busted through the door. Quickly, I jumped into his arms and forced him to hold me bridal style. He looked very confused so I pointed toward the spider. He understood immediately and walked over to it.
As we neared it I squealed in terror and put my face in his chest. I defiantly felt safer there. Percy had that effect on me though, I always felt safer with him around. Probably because I am always safer, he protects me, and that's one of the reasons I love him so much.
Percy simply stepped on the spider but it made a gross crackling sound. He grinned at me and said,"Better?" I playfully hit his chest,"You know better than to have spiders in your cabin when I'm here." He smiled even bigger,"Sorry Wisegirl." Now I smiled "Thanks for killing it Seaweed Brain." I kissed him, this time on the lips.
When we broke apart, like 10 minutes later, he ask,"Can I put you down now?"
Sorry I took forever to update, but you know school and stuff. BUT it's winter break so I'm going to update as much as possible! I'm not going to update on Christmas Eve(my birthday) cause I'm gonna be super busy or Christmas Day for the same reason, sorry, but I don't think you really expect me to. Right?Anyway here's the question.....
