Steve: Hey pervert! What are you doing with my Nancy!?
Jonathan: She isn't yours man! Never was!
Jonathan was acting brave and stood up to Steve.
Steve: Back off, dude.
Nancy: Steve, we're just hanging out. We're chaperoning for our siblings toni–
Steve: Oh, just hanging out!? Hanging out!? You are looking at him with those eyes! And you are laughing and your cheeks are lit up! You think that's hanging out!?
Jonathan: Leave her alone!
Steve: You want to step up to me, now?
Jonathan: — If it's to help Nancy, I will!
Nancy watched, stunned.
Steve: You don't even know her!
Jonathan: I know her better than you!
They were causing a scene. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Eleven watched.
Steve slapped Jonathan. Jonathan started to left-hook him and kick.
Nancy: Stop! I said stop!
Eleven focused on Steve. Steve floated.
Mike watched in awe.
Eleven: No.
Steve was thrown outside.
Nancy: !
Jonathan gasped, then got up.
Eleven: ...
Eleven's nose bled.
Mike: Wow El..
Dustin stared at Eleven.
Mike twirled her again and everything resumed. Eleven was as red as an apple.
Will walked over to Dustin and Lucas, who were sitting against the wall, drinking punch.
Will: Hey..
Lucas raised a brow.
Lucas: Shouldn't you be with Jennifer?
Dustin nodded, then took another swig of punch.
Will: She — She dumped me..
Will sat with them.
Dustin: Why?
Will sighed.
Will: She said I sucked at dancing. And that I 'embarrassed' her.
Lucas laughed.
Lucas: Girls can over-exaggerate sometimes.
Dustin nodded.
Dustin: Yeah. Tell me about it.
Will was silent, watching Mike and Eleven dancing.
Mike: So uhm. El?
Eleven: Yes, Mike?
Mike: I — I love you.
Eleven: What is love?
Mike: It is when you love someone, but more than friends..
Eleven: Like — best friends?
Mike: No.. More than that.
Eleven: Oh. Me too, Mike.
Mike pecked Eleven's cheek, and the gang gasped in awe.
