"I'm okay,"
the words slipped out
her lips as she gave me a
tight smile.
I kept my lips sealed as
my worried gaze bored
into her screaming eyes.
"..."
"Believe me," she said
forcing her smile to grow.
My arms quickly wrapped around
her already shaking body.
"Don't cry.
Just don't."
Her shaking hands
clutched my shirt.
"And if you do, don't let
me see..."
