Quinnlyns POV
I glare over at Chrissy chewing obnoxiously loud as she sinks her teeth into a chocolate chip cookie. Eventually it becomes too much of an annoyance. Especially when I realize she's trying to be intimidating with a wide smirk painted on her face.
"You're loud."
"I'm sorry." She says. "This cookies just so good."
"Last time I was here, your cookies were shit. You used salt instead of sugar."
"I bought this from the store." She crinkles the wrapper to scrape at my nerves even more.
"Oh." I roll my eyes. "The store you ditched me at."
She chuckles and looks back down at her paper. When I got here, I explained my problem about my dad not wanting my to leave. Chrissy was understanding and took my words to heart especially cause a lot of them revolved around Ariana. She knows as much as I do and something must have flashed in her mind when I mentioned the store. That was for sure, the reason behind her chuckle.
"What's funny?"
"Nothing." She keeps a constant smile flashing.
"Well when I rushed out of the store that night, I saw Ariana walk in. I didn't stop and ask for a picture or anything because I've never been a fan of hers until now."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah." She starts. "I never knew it would've lead to this. It seemed too slim of a chance for anything to happen."
For chrissy being the sarcastic bitch she is, her giving me these talks really helps lighten the mood. When school started everyone had been all over me and asking me questions about Ariana or to see picture proof. I brushed them off as much as I could but things got out of hand and overwhelmed me. That's where chrissy came in.
She snaps her head towards the clock and back towards me with a somewhat fearful look on her face.
"If we're gonna catch this plane, we gotta go now."
I get up without hesitation and before we know it, we're rushing to the car.

"Keep me updated." She fixes my shirt collar.
I nod and gulp down air. Seeing Ariana again gives me thoughts of nervousness. It's been too long since I've physically seen her and it's only now I realize why my heart has been screaming at me.
"Hey." Chrissy snags my attention. "Don't worry about anything. She misses you. You just gotta get your girl and stay with her. Okay? You're fine Quan."
"Okay." I say as she pulls me into a warm hug. I reluctantly detach from her and I'm walking towards the departure gate when something urges me to look back. When I do, I see Chrissy's eyes haven't left their last position. She's still staring at me with a small but visible smile.
She does her signature move, and taps her fist 3 times before she blows me a kiss. It's always been our thing. Each tap representing a trait we promise to keep and the kiss sealing it together.
