It Was Yours
They woke up to a child.
Nothing but a memory.
The fate was not up to them.
The fate was yours to choose.
You had the power.
You had the DETERMINATION.
Anguished cries or soft lullabies.
It was yours to choose.
You forced unto them your wish.
Mercy or Murder.
They became what you wanted them to.
For the choice was not theirs.
It was up to you.
Smiles and laughs.
Or frowns and whimpers.
You made the choice.
You were the voice whispering in their ears.
And when it was done,
You blamed it on them.
But the fault was not theirs.
It was yours.
