On my way to the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, I think to go to my eye doctor to get a new aritificial eye. "You know what? Screw it. I don't have enough money to waste." I say to myself. Thinking someone was behind me and heard what I just said, I turn around to see nothing, but hear a rustling sound as if someone dodged under a bush at that moment. Sighing, I say "Probably just a squirrel, no need to get paranoid, Y/N." I continue heading to the Guild Hall.

When I finally get to the Guild Hall, I make sure to open the door slowly so I won't get hit again. But, to my luck, even though I open the large doors slowly and carefully, a table comes flying towards me. Having little time to react, I use my fast reflexes to smash the table and send the little remaining bits flying elsewhere. This having made a loud sound, the whole guild turns towards me, some with scared expressions plastered on their faces seeing as I had an angry one plastered on mine. "Who threw that?" I ask in a sickly sweet, innocent voice. I see a blond girls eyes mouth open and close, as if deciding she didn't want to say what she was intending to. "Let me ask one more time." I say in that sweet voice. "WHO. THREW. THE GODDAMN CHAIR." I curse loudly. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Natsu opening his mouth, followed by silence. Angrily, I turn towards him and start walking slowly towards him, with an evil smile on my face. "So it was you, Nasty." I laugh maniacally. I see him shiver under my cold stare and I smirk. Using the back of my fist, I easily nock him to the ground unconscious. "Now that that's taken care of, let me chose a j-" I'm interrupted by a friendly voice from behind me. "Y/N?" I turn to see Mirajane, and my expression softens by a bit. "Oh, it's just you, Mirajane." I say. "Call me Mira!" She chirps. "Anyways, are you looking for a job?" "Um...yes." I answer her question. How can someone be so cheerful all the time?! "Let me help you choose one! Oh, and Y/N?" "Yeah?" "Why do you have an eyepatch?" Forgetting I had put an eyepatch on earlier I feel confused for a slight second. "Oh..uhh..this? Umm..I just put it on for uh...decoration! Yeah!" I laugh nervously, not wanting anyone to know the fact that I'm missing an eye. She doesn't look convinced, but shrugs and changes the subject back to picking a job for me. "So Y/N-" now was my turn to interrupt. "I want to take this one" I shove the piece of paper I sneakily grabbed from the few SS-Class jobs in the SS-Class section. "WHA?!!! YOU WANT TO TAKE AN SS-CLASS MISSION?!!!!" She screams, causing many shocked glances towards us by the guild mates. "I'm sorry, Y/N, but since you are not either an S-Class Mage nor an SS-Class Mage, I cannot allow you to take that job." She says. "Y/N an take that job" this time a new voice interrupts us. "But Master-" Mira speaks up. "Y/N is an SS-Class Mage, therefore she is allowed to take this job if she pleases. Though Y/N, since this is the first job you have ever taken, I presume, I recommend you take a job from the main board for all mages." The Master states, with earns many shoes faces from all the guild mates who happened to listen to the conversation. Sighing, I agree to Makorov. "I guess you're right. I'll take this one instead in that case." I hand her a different sheet of paper I grabbed from the main board next to me. Shocked, Mira stutters "O-okay, you can take this one, Y/N." She says and hands the paper back to me. I walk out of the guild not before thanking Mira and Master. Taking a first actual glance at the paper, I read what was written on it in cursive.

There have been Minotaur-like creatures kidnapping young women around the ages of 18 to 22 and taking them to -what we think- is their lair. We ask of you to please find those lost women for us and defeat the Minotaur creatures please.

Reward: 2,000,000,000,000 jewel

Heh. Sounds easy enough. I head to the forest to the area described on the bottom of the paper.

After about an hour of walking in what seems to be an endless maze of trees and bushes and such, I spot the village I was looking for.
