Chapter 7

Luckily, my spell from earlier protected my wound from opening again. I rush to the bars of my cage and see Erza, Wendy, Sting, Rogue, and their exeeds, Lector and Frosch. Exeeds...No. Now's not the time for that. You need to focus on your surroundings, or else something can surprise attack you....sneak up from behind...What am I thinking? I'm in a cage for Irene's sake. There's nothing here- I feel a presence behind me. Using my fast instincts and quick reflexes, I turn around to see one of those monsters that locked me up behind me with greedy eyes. As I swerve around, I manage to fit in a perfectly-aimed roundhouse high kick at his ribs. I turn back around to meet the cage bars.

"E-Erza....Wendy..." I stutter.

"Y/N!" Wendy shouts and rushes towards me while Erza fights off her attackers. She finds the key which was on the floor outside of the cage and unlocks the iron bars.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened? Here, let me heal you!!" She says rapidly and brings her hands up to perform her healing magic on my already healed wounds.

"No, no, it's alright, my wounds are already healed; there's no need to waste your magic on them," I say.

"I need to help the others fight, I'm tired of watching them attack those monsters by themselves." I get up and leave the cage. Wendy follows and goes up to fight, but her white exeed stops her.

"Wendy, you aren't fighting them. It's useless to waste your energy when those creatures are already being taken down." Wendy sighs

"Fine." I notice a creature about to land a sneak attack from behind Erza, so I swiftly run up from behind and land a sneak attack on them myself.

"Heh. I really needed that. I haven't fought monsters in a while." I say as Erza turns around.

"Thank you, Y/N, but there was no need for you to save me. I would've tackled that beast myself." "I was just trying to help" I shrug.

"Anyways, it's time to beat up some shit." I grin, as I launch myself at a Minotaur attacking Sting, knocking it to the ground with the weapon the Minotaur which attacked me at the cage dropped. I smirk at Sting's expression and blow on my fingernails just to add some badassness.

"Sorry to ruin your little moment with that Minotaur, but it seemed as though you were struggling, so I decided to save you." Sting lets out a

"tch" sound (Heichou? Is that you?) and walks away to fight another Minotaur.

I land a final blow on the last of the Minotaurs, while Erza and Wendy start opening the cages of the other hostages. As I was distracted by Wendy and Erza, the Minotaur which was below me used his free hand to pin me down. He tossed my weapon into the air and smirked at me. Erza, Wendy, Sting, and Rogue tried to come to save me, but there was an invisible force preventing them from reaching me.

"What are you gonna do now, girly?" (what are you, Undertaker? Girly? really?)

"Bastard" I whisper-shout, as I conjure a weapon using my black magic. I use the sharp sword to pierce through the flesh protecting his heart, and he coughs up a generous amount of blood onto my clothes. With his last breath, the Minotaur falls onto me and I let out a small grunt. I wedge myself from beneath the creature and draw out the sword.

"Ugh, he got my clothes all dirty. I guess I'll have to change into my fighting clothes." I say, as my clothes transform into my suit specialized for fighting.I slide the sword into to slot on the back of my armor suit and look up to see some faces that were surprised as fuck.

"Well, what're you waiting for? Hurry up and let's leave this shitty place." Erza and Wendy immediately get back to freeing the other women from their cellars. I walk up to Sting and smirk.

"Is that a blush I see, Eucliffe?" I say. Sting looks down at his feet (sure, his feet) "Look at me when I'm speaking to you" I say sternly, and lift up his chin. He gulps and looks the other way.

"Ugh, why am I even wasting my time speaking to you? Erza, Wendy, you two head back to the guild. I'll get my reward and catch up with you guys." I order. Erza and Wendy nod, and leave the cave (damn, Erza obeyed). "Girls, I'll take you back to your village. Follow me." I gesture for the women to come after me, and they obey. "Eucliffe, Cheney........uhh.....you do you." I say, and start leaving towards the village.
