Clarke's POV ~~~~~~~~~~ After being at the 'beach' for a few hours we were back on the road. Lexa has a meeting in the morning so I have until about 2 tomorrow until I see her, so I'm just going to hang out with Octavia and Raven. It was dark now, and I was driving so Lexa could sleep, but the brunette insisted on keeping me company as long as she could. She sat with her head leaning against the window, while soft music played in the background. I placed my freehand on hers and she entwined our fingers. I don't know how in such a short time I've opened up to her, the way we met was so unexpected that I couldn't help but think it was supposed to happen. Slowly she was making me like her more and more which I didn't even think was possible for me. Glancing at her briefly I notice that her eyes have now closed, and she was asleep. Any sign of distress or anger left her face, and she looked at peace, lost in her slumber. I drove for a while longer until me and Octavia decided we should pull over at a truck stop for a few hours to sleep, and then get back on the road in a little while. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I open my eyes to find it's a couple hours before sunrise, Lexa was still asleep next to me. I picked up my phone and quietly called Octavia, who when she answered was out of breath.
O: yes? C: hey, are you okay you sound like you just ran a mile? O: yup totally fine what's up?
I could hear shuffling and as if O took the phone from off her ear and covered it with her hand, I could hear Octavia telling Raven to stop doing something and then what sounded like muffled kissing. C: um O you still there? O: mmhm yup I'm here what do you want griffin I'm kinda busy C: I was thinking we should get back on the road if we wanna get there before Lexa's meeting O: yeah you're right I'll follow you, lead the way griffin.
I hung up the phone and looked behind me through the back window and saw Octavia and raven sitting in O's car making out. I shook Lexa lightly and she made a cute squeaking noise.
"Lexa wake up you gotta see this!"
She yawned and sat up, looking in my direction and kissing my cheek, which caused me to blush and look away from the car behind me.
"What is it love, what do you want me to see?"
I just about melted at Lexas morning voice, which had just the right amount of husk, and air in it. I locked eyes with her beautiful emerald ones, and almost got lost.
"Behind us, Raven and Octavia were making out."
I say turning my head back in that direction.
"Well that was to be expected, I mean they did know each other before hand I guess."
"Do you think they're ex's from a few years ago?"
"Honestly yes, have you seen the way they look at each other?"
"You're right, they always have heart eyes around each other"
Eventually Lexa goes back to her sleeping position, and I pull out of the rest stop making sure that Octavia was following me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (No ones pov)
Clarke Octavia and Raven have all been at the beach since making it to Florida. Lexa's been at a meeting all day, and Clarke is anxiously waiting for 2 o'clock to roll around. She stood next to Octavia while Raven was trying to bogey board, Octavia was quick to laugh when the raven haired girl fell off the board, but quickly went to go help her. Two arms wrapped around Clarke's waist, and she instantly knew it was Lexa. Lexa rested her head on Clarke's shoulder, chills ran down the blondes spine at the feeling of Lexa's breath on her neck. It wasn't long after that Lexa realized the effect she was having on the blue eyed beauty, and let her warm lips rest quickly on the girls neck, causing Clarke to gasp. Clarke turned in Lexa's grasp and quickly connected their lips, before pulling away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lexa's POV "Clarke would you stop looking at the ocean for a second and look at the camera" I yell from my position in the sand, but snap a few pics of the beautiful girl sitting on the rock in front of me.

She turned her head and let me get a few pictures of her posing.
"Baaabbee... get over here!" I could feel myself blushing at the mere thought of her saying that word.
"Hold on, I need to put my phone back on the towel over there so it doesn't get wet I'll be right there babe"
I found myself smiling at the word, I quickly found my way over to where Clarke was sitting and plopped down behind her, so she was leaning back against me, my arms found their way around her body, and we sit there watching the waves, until the sun disappears and warm pinks flood the sky.
