Chapter 1 Percy

         As I was walking into school I saw my friend Jake standing by my locker. He looked really excited and I couldn't help but wonder why considering we were already a month in" to school and we had a lot and I mean a lot of homework last night. most of which I didn't do. So I know I wasn't looking forward to today. I was about to go talk to him when my other friend Caleb came over to me. "Hey Percy" he said. "What's up?" I replied. "Oh nothing really it's just that I heard we had a new student coming today." He said back to me " Oh that must be what Jake looked so excited about" "Hmm I bet that Kally is her guide today because usually she would already have talked to me by now"

     "Clingy much dude I mean y'all have only been together for a month." I teased him with a smirk on my face. "What ? It is so not clingy and we have been together for two months thank you very much! And besides its better than you who doesn't have a girlfriend at all.

       I couldn't help but smirk a little. He still didn't really know about Annabeth. He was one of Rachel's friends when I first came to Goode. So he doesn't really know that much about me. I mean you can't really expect me not to have a girlfriend right? I'm a junior and Captain of the football team I mean really. I would love to be on a swim team but Goode High School doesn't have one.

      "Actually" I started with a smirk " I do have a girlfriend" "No way you would have mentioned it by now " He said with a shocked expression " I really do" I said back.  " Then why haven't I met her ?" "because she lives in California with her dad" I replied.

       His eyes look like a Christmas tree they lit up so bright when he got an idea "Well how about we ask Jake if he believes in this girlfriend of yours". " Okay I'm down with that" I said to his idea. Knowing Jake probably wouldn't believe me . I mean we've been friends for over a year so I guess he thought he would know more about her by now. But really I don't understand the big deal I mean is it really that hard to believe someone could actually like me that way and not just for looks. 

      "Hey Jake Perc here says that he has a girlfriend do you believe him ?" "No I bet he's just saying that because he wants all the girls who ask him out to leave him alone." Jake replied.

      And it was that moment that Garret had to come running up to us " Guys the new girl is like so hot!"  he said in a really loud voice that almost made me forget what we were talking about. "Maybe she can make Percy forget about this imaginary girlfriend he made up" Caleb practically yelled back at him. "HAHA yeah right guys"I said just as I heard someone walk up behind and turned around to see Kally standing there with someone else standing behind her.

      "Hey Kally who are you with?" Caleb asked and when the girl she was with turned around my heart just about stopped!
