Prompt challenge is on previous chapter and you should totally do it if you haven't already, but it was basically this sentence

"I couldn't find the opening and it all came out!" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Tess didn't even like her job. A job at the library seemed like a good idea. A free library card and 15 bucks an hour sounded like a good idea. Plus, she'd read enough romance novels to know that there is always some cute, single, guy roaming around libraries, and she, being the hopeless romantic she was, couldn't say no to that. Also, how hard could it be? Telling people to shut up and be quiet. She already did that at school anyway. The job turned out to be harder than expected. All the stacking and sorting and stamping. And she never even got to yell at anyone. It appeared that only quiet people(like Tess herself) came to the library. Honestly, it would be better if she had some co-workers, but she was working the friday shift, also known at the library as the "solo shift" and it is just that. She was alone, just her and her stacks of books. So when she heard a shriek echo through the silent halls, of course she ran outside to it. It sounded like a girl, and if you hear a girl screaming on a quiet fall day, you know something's up. So outside Tess ran, her red hair falling from it's bun and her employee lanyard swinging around her neck. Only to be disappointed when she found the exasperated teen sitting in a heap of books on the concrete. The idiot had somehow managed to open the book return box, and all the books flew out.

"Jesus christ, what are you doing?!"

It was the end of a long, long, day, and Tess didn't bother censoring her language. Besides, he looked about her age.

"I was trying to return these books and, and I couldn't find the opening and it all came out!"

Tess smacked her palm against her head.

"Please never say that again"

The teen's face flushed, and he fell silent.

"I didn't mean it like that"

"I'm aware"

The two fell silent.

"So, how exactly did you manage to open the return book box, which was locked, while trying to return a book?" Tess drummed her fingers on her folded arm in annoyance.

"I don't know...I thought the door was where you put the books in..."

The teen looked at the pile of books surrounding him. Then he whipped his eyes back to Tess in a glare.

"And the door wasn't locked, as you say it was"

The boy had curly blonde hair, thick glasses, and eyes so dark blue they could pass as purple. He was fairly attractive, although it seemed like he was trying to ruin himself with the huge black glasses he was wearing.

"What!? I know I locked it"

Tess stomped around the blonde, and checked the open door to the red phone-box shaped book return box. Sure enough, it was unlocked.

"Um, guess I forgot..."

Tess folded her arms again, and flushed in embarrassment.

"Ha!"

"Well who's the one covered in overdue books huh!?"

The blonde looked around, and adjusted his glasses. Then looked to Tess with decision and stuck out his hand.

"I'm Eden by the way"

The name rung a bell.

"Are you the guy who keeps renting out 'Landline' by Rainbow Rowell"
