~A place to crash, I got you. No need to ask, I got you.~

He choose to stay. He choose to not leave me. But he could always change his mind.

But I was...happy? he didn't leave me. The truth is that...I would've been devastated if he would have. I don't know what I would have done and I don't want to think about it.

It was about 11.30 in the morning and I haven't gotten out of bed yet. Max had called and said he was going to make me breakfast, so he was down in the shop cooking for me. And that made me happy cause I haven't had anyone make me breakfast in a long time, it felt nice to be lazy for once.

A light knock on the door catches my attention. Light from the hallway lit up the room as the door was slowly pushed open, revealing a smiling Max. Standing in his morning glory, in sweatpants and a black t-shirt.
When he called this morning, after him teasing me about freaking out that he called which I didn't, he agreed to stay here today and watch movies with me and just talk. Basically whatever I was comfortable with doing cause he didn't want to pressure me to talk more about what happened to me, it was my choice when I was ready to talk about it again.

The light irritated my eyes so I pulled up the cover over my head. Max's laughter mixed with his footsteps filled the room.
The bed shifted as he sat down beside me. Slowly the covers were tugged down, his eyes met mine.

''Good morning sunshine.''

A tired smile spread across my lips.

''Good morning to you too.''

''Breakfast is ready for the sleeping beauty.'' he said as he gently tugged a string of hair behind my ear.

My face turned to a shade of pink to the nickname. I turned my head down a bit so he wouldn't notice me blush but his small chuckle let me know I was too slow.

''Aww! She's blushing.'' he chuckled and his whole face lit up. His dimples showing, making him look like a little boy.

His statement just made me blush more. Using my hands to pull my covers up over my head, hiding.

''Come one sweetie, breakfast is getting cold.''

He pulled the covers from my body and as that cold air hit my skin my body curled up to a ball.

''I want my covers back!'' I complained as I tried to reach for them. To my surprise he pulled me up so I was sitting even though I resisted.

Suddenly he pulled my warm covers around my cold body. I looked up and met his eyes and noticed a special sparkle. I couldn't really figure it out.

''I got you.'' he said, his voice smooth as satin.

His strong arms went around my body then he picked me up, my arms falling into place around his neck.

It felt weird, it felt nice.

A smirker spread across Max's face, looking quite cocky, as I snuggled my face into his chest and my covers.

''Getting cozy now aren't we?''

I couldn't help but giggle in response and snuggle closer to keep my warmth.

''Aww, my sleeping beauty.'' He sighed and started to walk out of the room.

He slowly walked down the hall and out the door down to the shop. On the counter there was 2 plates with eggs and bacon, a plate with all kinds of fruit, a pot of coffee and a cane of orange juice.

He gently sate me down in one of the barstools still wrapped in the softness of my covers.

On the side of my plate was a small red rose. I think Max noticed me staring at it. He picked it up and gave it to me.
