I laid on the bay window in Riley's room looking up at the ceiling I couldn't believe it my mom my parent brain cancer stage 4 my thoughts were interrupted when her bedroom door opened i didn't look to see who it was
"You ok" Josh asked I shrugged he came over and sat down I sat up
"I'm sorry" he said
"For what" I asked
"I told you nothing bad would ever again and now this happens" he said
"It's not your fault Josh" I replied
"I'm still sorry" he said placing his arm around me I lifted my hand up to his and rested my head on his shoulder
"You gonna come to the roof" he asked
"Why the roof" I asked
"Last year they had a party up there and I guess there doing it again this year" he said
"Yeah I'll come" I said standing up
"You sure" He asked I turned around he grabbed both of my hands
"Yeah I'm sure" I replied he smiled and stood up and we walked out as he put an arm around me
We got up on the roof
"Hey you came up" Lucas said as we came threw the doorway
"Yeah I can't miss my first New Years in New York" I replied
"Guys 5 more minutes" Farkle said I smiled then looked over at Jack and Shawn
"I'll be right back" I said and went over
"Hey" I said
"Hey Kiddo you ok" Shawn asked
"Yeah I'll try to be" I said "how much longer are you staying" I asked both him and Jack
"We were gonna leave tomorrow" Jack said
"But" I asked
"But we can't leave you right now we're family and we haven't been so it's time we are" Shawn said
"Thanks you" I said then hugged both of them
"G one minute left" Riley yelled I turned around but stayed with Shawn and Jack
"Go" Shawn said
"What" I asked
"Go be with your friends" Jack said I nodded and went over Katy went over to Shawn then Cory and Topanga came up

"HAPPY NEW YEARS" we all yelled Lucas kissed Riley Maya and Farkle laughed then I looked over at Josh I could tell he wanted to not didn't want to upset Maya so I took first moved and kissed him he kissed back
