Sam when Lucifer is trying to get into his head, so he brings up the topic of your death. It was in no way the younger Winchester's fault, but he blamed himself for everything; it was in his nature. His eyes water as Satan's harsh voice fills his ears, the words 'your fault' and 'she's dead because of you' making his heart clench. The worst part wasn't the fact that he was in the cage again, nor was it the fact that the devil himself was standing only a few feet away from him, the worst part was the fact that he didn't fight back. He didn't deny Lucifer's accusations, he didn't even move. The only thing that signified he was alive was the shallow breaths emitting from his mouth, and the single tear that slid down his cheek as he thought of that horrible night when you were ripped away from him.
