this day is for you
so don't ever feel blue
let's fill it with a different hue
negativity ought to be shoo-ed

the world began to be filled
with joy all sadness was killed
then the relationship we built
was known stronger than steel

don't just lay there on the bed
rise and shine today instead
you'll see a new thing, bestowed
and that is what i have vowed

maybe I will not be able
to keep your mood stable
for we always ruin it
forgive us for being a bit stupid

yet showing love for you,
we're not best
but still higher than the peak
of mount Everest
we tend to bury and hide it
in a treasure chest
but i say you can grip on it
like a safe vest

so what i would like to say
is that i want you to stay
smiling and gay
and never be gray
for this is your birthday
happening today.
