I quickly shot up off the ground and looked around to see the others were starting to pack. I groaned and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. My back was killing me, but there was no way in hell that I'd complain, not when today was the big day, the day we go to Terminus. "Good mornin'." Eugene smiled as he knelt down beside me, holding out a bottle of water. I gently took it and took a quick drink before passing it back, clearing my throat
"Why didn't y'all wake me up? I would've help pack." I groggily asked.
"We thought you could use some more sleep, looked as if you were havin' a nightmare. You were cryin' and, in Abraham's defense, ya do kick like a kangaroo."
"Oh my God. Did I hit anyone?"
"No, ma'am. Just scared us is all. So, was it a bad dream?"
"It was at first, but then it turned out alright."
"What was it about?" Maggie asked as she walked over to me, putting her bag on the ground, using it as a seat.
"I was lookin' at the bad shit that happened to me from a different perspective, as if I was watchin' from the sidelines. But then I was lookin' at things that Merle wanted me to see. Then he took me to see few people to talk to before I woke up."
"Who?"
"Dale at first, but then Hershel showed up and later I had to talk to Shane-"
"Shane?" Glenn asked as he sat down beside Maggie.
"Yeah, he was mad at me."
"What's new?" Maggie chuckled. "You were always findin' a way to get under his skin. I remember the night ya came back with alcohol and refused to give 'em any, he was rantin' and ravin' all throughout the property. He was goin' on about how you were a greedy bitch and a whore because you were supposedly sleepin' with Daryl-"
"Which I wasn't."
"But you are now."
"That was then, this is now." I laughed. "Besides, he was just pissy because I wouldn't sleep with 'em." Everyone began to laugh.
"So what was he mad about this time?" Glenn smiled.
"He's still there." I answered.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean he's still there, where Rick killed him in the field."
"Ya didn't bury 'em?" Maggie asked.
"He attacked me in the bathroom in a drunken rage, choked me when Dale tried to hide all the guns from 'em, and he tried to kill Rick. I was mad."
"Yeah, but even with all the bad things he did to you, you guys were still close." Glenn added. "Like brother and sister, you guys even had the arguing down." I didn't respond. "Michaela." Glenn placed his hand on mine and sighed. "We bury our living, no matter what they did. Hell, we buried Carol's husband, Ed, and he didn't even deserve it. We bury our living, burn the dead." I let out a sigh and nodded. Glenn was right, even though Lori had convinced me to bury him, it was Glenn who made me realize that I absolutely had to. I only wondered how Abraham was going to take the news that I had to go back to the farm before going anything else.
"Everyone ready?" Abraham called out.
"We've been ready." Maggie responded.
"Then what are y'all sittin' around for?"
